Thank you, DOCTOR Foster!
I'm sure that I'd find it interesting. I'm not a professional philosopher, of course. But I enjoy reading philosophy books and papers, particularly in epistemology.
I'll DM you on X. And again, congratulations!

Congratulations, Dr Foster!
Would it impertinent of me to ask if I could read your thesis?

Sorry to hear this.
Just bought the President 33 cups of coffee.
Please tell him not to drink them all in one sitting.
Best wishes, sir.

It's been a few weeks since I've seen the baby bunny that was living in a basket in my backyard.
Have to assume it's grown and gone off to find friends.

We get most steel and aluminum from allies. Is he expecting a war with Canada?

Trump likes to think he has all the cards. When confronted with the actual reality, it confuses him.

Many alleged pundits (especially on that OTHER platform) make foolish comments about cases that they clearly haven't read.
I often reply by admonishing them to read the case and providing a link to the docs.

Wow. Despite all those redactions, they DIDN'T redact the "anally raped by asteroid" part. Disturbing

Reconciliation bills can only include matters relating to spending and budget.
So these cannot be in a reconciliation bill.

Great to see so many!
Seems like there were a few years there when most of the platforms were empty.

Not Covid?
I returned last Monday from a weekend in Manhattan and next day tested positive for Covid. Been miserable ever since.
Glad to see Lily taking good care for you. Feel better soon, Professor!

If you don't mind subtitles...
Spanish series The Gardener on Netflix was very good. Six 45 min episodes.
For something more humorous, German series Murder Mindfully is fun. Short episodes.

Absolutely!
My first year of college, the best parties started after midnight and went until sunrise. So it was perfectly acceptable to get a few hours of sleep in before going out.
Hope your "friend" enjoys the punk rock show! ;-)

Beautiful city! Safe, modern, excellent mass transit, every imaginable cuisine. Fascinating blend of English, Chinese, Indian, Muslim cultures.
Only negatives:
- so very far away
- oppressive heat and humidity.
Have to change shirts several times a day, do laundry a few times when I visit.
Enjoy!

Sad when the tiniest hint of a spine in a US Senator is cause to celebrate.

When the day comes that Trump dumps him - and it will - any potential employer should play this tape to Bessent during his job interview.
He is sacrificing every iota of professional integrity to please Dear Leader. As we've seen with others, such loyalty in the end means nothing to Trump.

NAFTA took 3 years to negotiate.
USMCA (which was basically NAFTA with a new name) took more than a year.
TTP took 6 years.
Trade deals take time.
The administration is delusional.
Rushed deals will probably be bad deals.

Unfortunately I fear that these eloquent words will be lost on our current executive branch.

I'm not so sure.
He had most of his followers believing that the economy was terrible under Biden, despite data and indicators to the contrary.

Sadly the entire GOP is all too willing to stand back and let it happen. They'd rather let the nation crash than stand up to Trump.

This sure looks like an appeal, not a petition for mandamus.
What would appeal court typically do with this? Just dismiss/ignore? Or can they sanction/scold for appealing an unappealable order?
And if appeal dismissed, would DOJ try to appeal to SCOTUS?

I'm not a lawyer.
If appeals court refuses to accept the petition, can govt petition directly to SCOTUS for the writ?

Claims without evidence seem to be common these days. What's worse is that many will mindlessly believe these claims.
People with massive wealth mistakenly believe that equates to high intelligence.

Israel dropped its tariffs on US goods, in a show of good faith. Then we still put tariffs on theirs. That takes some serious chutzpah.
Trump is seriously damaging our relationships around the world.
