Yes. It has always been beneficial to commit crimes as the power in-group. We're just seeing it in the open now. Not sure if that's better, but there it is.

Then the best plan is a series of contingencies for probable outcomes. Awareness that violence will increase. Expectation that stochastic terrorism will increase. Understanding that the rule of law will be compromised to protect those loyal to the cause. Organize in response.

The key point is "in cities". The left is laughing because farmers employ so many migrants, but Trump isn't going to target those workers in red areas. He's going to target immigrants in blue cities. The damage will be direct retribution.
