Simultaneously pessimistic and optimistic. DMs ok if something a bot or paid scavenger would not say. "Betelgeuse going nova!" or "Voles United!" might work. "Hello", NOPE. If you don't read this first don't message me. Also @[email protected]

And this kid. Band geeks can save the world!

If you study the successful rebellions and resistance and civil rights movements of the past, you will note that “people who spend their time publicly bumming out everyone around them by emphasizing how totally fucked everything is” do not play a central role, or indeed, any role at all

Of course. But Johnson's Pinocchio nose is so long he can't pronounce "promise".

Good luck. 25 years ago the city here (in North Carolina, US) said they would widen the road nearby. They did it 2 years ago. The city had planned to create a new lake/reservoir in 1927(!). It was started about 2000 and ready around 2010. I'm sick of it.

Is that a promise?

We would expect no less. Treasonous pos.

Yes, it's easy to see the trend since 1981.

Damn right!

Shame? I don't know. Fear of reprisals, legally or not, for the crimes and ethical violations they're committing, certainly.

If she was exfiltrated to, say, Iceland, I don't think there'd be a way to convince her she wouldn't be killed, no matter the protection offered. Ghislaine probably has, in her head, information that could contribute to the downfall of Trumpers. :(

That can't be unseen or undone afterwards. Somebody awaken us from this nightmare.

Chicksh¡ts at Fox/etc are afraid to favor either as the disfavored will certainly do them damage. Besides, as the article implies, they haven't a clue who'll "win", so whom to choose.

Absolute trash, all six. Disbar all six of them and charge and imprison at least those accepting direct bribes (Thomas & Alito, for sure).

Aside from AOC, Bernie, Jasmine, a few others... where is everyone else?

I'd like for them to escalate it, but to draw in Bezos, Mike Johnson, JD, Zuck, etc, and nobody leaves the room, er, dome. Thunderdome!

Or maybe a nice result: Fell Out.

As usual, there's an appropriate Josey Wales quote, this time from Granny Hawkins. "I say that big talk's worth doodly-squat."

Maybe, will try in mirror to see if anything else moves. Can do the nostril flare thing.

It's his job to know what's in a bill he's voting on. He failed miserably. Throw him out.

What they're doing over here is really shitty. Squash Farage if you can.

I agree. Although I might buy a 60-64 some day, I've driven rear swing axle cars beyond the limit and the design sucks. 65-69 had a vastly improved—and IMO, better IRS than other US-made cars at the time. I was surprised with the ride quality as well. Way better than other old compacts.

I have lots of thoughts about the others but with d. in particular I agree.

Most can't even imitate, either. A shiny stainless steel grille, pop country, and a new crew cab pickup? No way.

Absolutely no civility against the threat is called for.

Being tough isn't the same as being mean, though I realize that's what's meant. We can use every legitimate tool available and it'll work but not if we wimp out. Push AND shove. Force it. Shut them down at every point. Let nothing stand that should not. Kick them out.

Good question. If so, and the cost.

"The market" is a lot of clueless business school-but-lacking-general-knowledge-and-understanding types, a few who get what's going on but aren't involved, and then those who are guilty of participating. Lightning-fast trades don't avoid being duped by the cons when so many fall for the stunts.

"Critics condemned Graham as a 'shitty person' for the post." “'In a good country, this kind of tweet would be disqualifying for public office,' said one." "Shitty person" is a mighty nice way of describing him.

Don't be fooled by the hoopla. Cryptocurrency was imagined as an exchange of value. It may still be useful in that way, particularly for illicit drug deals and murder-for-hire. It is NOT and likely never will be a decent store of value nor an "investment". "Pyramid Scheme" is an apt description.

This is the problem. I say give 'em a raise. Say, $500k/yr. But no money, campaign or personal, from anyone else. Maybe allow truly blind trusts for investments, but no money from anyone during office, nor from anyone benefitting from their decisions during office, ever.

All the chaos is cover for and distraction from that and the stealing.

Even though it comes from the top, someone lower knows of both the court order AND the direct order and knows the court order was the one they lawfully should've followed. Charge them. Keep doing so until the "just following orders" crowd has been purged.
