It was awful. The doctors who approved him were so cavalier. He said if he could go home he would not want to die. This was during the travel ban from COVID so i couldn’t get up.

My 89 dad was depressed and hospitalized with pneumonia. Despite me pleading, psychiatry never saw him. Developed bedsores from neglect in hospital. Sent to a nursing home without us being told. He asked for MAID and was approved. If he could have returned home with help he wouldn’t have chosen it.
