SCOOP: The CDC is planning to move information on cases of diseases like measles and polio to a data system managed by Palantir, raising concerns about patient privacy. www.nytimes.com/2025/06/06/h...

When Trump encounters a demographic he doesn’t care for, he “disappears” them–in many cases, the very record of their existence. Meet America’s new “missing persons," and the govt campaign to delete statistical evidence of anyone who doesn't fit Trump’s idea of our new golden age. w/ @ashendruk.com

I’m in The Economist about the Trump/Musk breakup www.economist.com/united-state...

And it's @drewmagary.bsky.social from the top rope: www.sfgate.com/politics/art...

everyone charge your phones bc it looks like he’s ready for round 2 lol

Wow sounds like it sucks

SCOOP: A deputy U.S. marshal was mistakenly detained by immigration agents inside the federal building that houses Tucson's immigration court, U.S. Marshals Service officials confirmed on Thursday. @tucson.com tucson.com/news/local/b...

It’s the end of an era.

Literally the Simpsons episode where the town is deporting immigrants and it turns out Apu knows everything about the country and Homer calls it the “electrical college” and can’t name any branch of government

Quite funny to see Heterodox conference speakers complaining about 'echo chambers void of intellectual diversity'.

This is how they see ‘the West’. A member of the Heterodox Academy put this up on screen at ARC ‘25. If you squint, you can see Foucault and some drag artists in the picture.

I am sorry to inform you that Matt Goodwin's stupid graph is now non-ironically being reported in French media.

Twitter: this is how men with huge balls fight. This is what masculinity looks like Bluesky: this is the first messy breakup of pride month

Three men sit in a cell in El Salvador. The first asks the second why he has been imprisoned. He replies, "Because I criticized Elon Musk." The first man responds, "But I am here for praising Musk!" They ask the third man who has been sitting quietly in the back. He answers, "I AM Elon Musk".

Musk right now...

Sincerely—not saying this to stir the pot—this is weak and both Trump and Don Jr. will know it. If Vance wanted to prove his loyalty, he would have knifed Musk; not just put out a generic "I am loyal to the king" tweet.

Disappointing to see Musk caving like a saggy soufflé...

guess who got yelled at

I've been saying for years that Yglesias is the laziest man in all of media, which is really saying something. Not lazy in an "I'll write it later, after one more F-Troop rerun" way, but lazy in an "I'm just going to spew a bunch of words about this topic without interrogating it at all" way.

"these people are too online," I say, screenshotting disagreeable posts from another social network so that people on my other social network can join me in finding them unpleasant

TACO vs. MACO

American Prigozhin (derogatory)

Unexpected! (All part of the fun of fragmented politics.)

*attenborough voice* like the mighty salmon, elon musk can already sense that his end is near... and so now begins his last great journey, swimming relentlessly upstream to the garbage centrist democrat spawning grounds where his lifecycle began

One thing that has massively improved my experience on Bsky compared to the bad place is that now if someone's first interaction with me is rude, I block instantly and don't even think about it.

Yglesias really is living on another planet...

The argument that Musk might face *personal* liability for some of the shit he did in government should get renewed interest right about now.

MAGA WARS

Now you understand the pain in Dan bonginos eyes

Weird they're showing Swan Lake on Fox right now

He didn’t know about it?!!!

I cannot stop wheezing
