I messaged my sister to tell her this. “But we had fingerless gloves?” said my sister. “We grew up in the 80s. How could she forget such style?” (This is quite typical of my mother, it’s not an age thing. It’s just that some days she seemingly wakes up new to the world.)

I’m feeling smug/relieved that I concluded sex robots were pointless and AI sex companions were much more likely to be a success. Shame that didn’t translate into stellar book sales. :(

It’s fine, it’s still wrong, there still aren’t robots.

My dad still drives a particular inefficient route because he knows it and because he will never admit to anyone, ever, that there might be a better way than the way he knows. He will tell me I’m wrong even though I have a quicker route and live traffic updates.

M&S constantly moving the cheese section can only be to deliberately confuse the Boomers (and me).

Whereas yours is: ☑️ organised a festival ☑️ swore you’d never organise a festival again ☑️ started another interesting thing ☑️ got annoyed at a survey

Sex robots are absolutely not "being developed at breakneck speed". Sigh.
