The point here, to folks in the US, is that you've already fallen to fascism: you're letting armed thugs wearing masks, with no uniform or id and no warrants, kidnap anyone. Your laws and norms didn't stop it.

AI can bring many advancements as it develops but also at a cost: fewer jobs, lower wages, higher unemployment, new AI demands on scarcer water and electricity, lower average education, more plagiarism, a less intelligent population, more advanced fraud + disinformation, and less human originality.
