Unpacked this photo was reminded of Mom's sickest burn on Dad. He needed transplant & said "I hear if you get a transplant you might take on the personality of the person who donated." Mom, without missing a beat: "It's worth a try, chances are it'd be an improvement and they were nicer than you."

In my church history classes on American religious history I have to go over “The notion American was founded as Christian nation is a deliberately orchestrated Orwellian rewrite of history that has zero basis in actual history.” Calling it historical garbage is too kind - it’s a deliberate lie.

For anybody wondering if an American could be Archbishop of Canterbury...Church of England is established church, Archbishop serves governmental functions (privy council, accession council, etc.), and takes oath of loyalty to the monarch, pretty much means a British or Commonwealth citizen. #LeoXIV
