Which clearly is what they are attempting however that is difficult to stomach given the ticket prices we pay, the manner in which they have taken confessions away and the extracurricular revenue generating events that the stadium holds..We pay M&S prices to be given Aldi food (and I shop at Lidl!)

Thank you. It's obfuscation re:net spend as that is always banked within club (and ultimately sale) value. True investment is wage ratio to turnover and thus 1st team calibre/world class players. Board should just admit that they now model us on Dortmund's model of young talent destination

And Son is now past his peak and we've had no succession planning nor nous to sell him as that would force our hand to reinvest. I hope Ange does go then at least it leaves no one but the board to face the consequences. To stand still is to fall behind.

It is 26 days into the winter window with a worsening crisis and we have signed a replacement keeper. The lack of investment has been present for years - we have just had players at their peak glossing over it. Kane got us through until he was free of the shackles with one year left on his contract

Why does no one think that Ange will actually quit this shower?? He is not without his faults but to go into the season after we fell over the line to finish 5th & sign one 1st team player is a dereliction of duty. In any other field an external audit would have highlighted Levy as the issue

We have the majority of popular ideas and concepts which would and should improve the majoritity of lives rather than enriching the few - but we've been sold the lie that tho se same ideas are unelectable rather then putting in the groundwork of showing why they are right

the difference is that the Rt wing lean into using these individuals as recruitment tools whereas us progressives sideline our politicians who are popular with the young (AOC, Bernie and Corbyn) in the UK.

Being held accountable for shitty behaviour. The majority of them know they are playing the system for financial recompense

We've had similar in the UK with Russell Brand for example & it's funny how people turn towards red pill scaremongering and they are coming for you when they start facing allegations of deviancy & abusive behaviour. They lean into suggesting they are silenced by the state rather than they are

I had listened to Schulz years ago initially on the Brilliant Idiots podcast however haven't been able to listen to Flagrant for years. He has had what appears to be the generic conversion from left leaning to rabid RT wing freedom of speech evangelist - look at the recent issues with K Lemar...

Agreed this should not be an either or approach - modern football clubs should be able to recruit players who can improve the first team alongside prospects expected to become regulars within 18 months.

Happy Birthday Mate...the gift was permanently erasing the goalkeeper row on your scouting spreadsheet...

Still think one of the biggest What If? moments of recent times is if Brown called the election when he had the opportunity to rather than getting cold feet. I do believe that were he to have won an election Labour may have had the chance to put in place truly progressive policies

Completely agree... We have to look at the one common denominator in all of this - the systematic lack of investment & continual players for the future. We have a threadbare squad & again have a manager who runs 1st team into the ground as no faith in the bench. Yet I still think Ange is right man

And that's meant for him (rather than selfishly for the club) going forward as I think he's been fantastic....

I suspect that it's that fact that has resulted in an op being needed. At the very least more likely to cause a fracture to become displaced. A lot now depends on if it's a more straightforward realignment Vs stabilization. Given how much keepers rely on dynamic jumping movements etc a BIG concern

From the UK.. Do you think we as progressives missed the chance to radically overhaul the capitalist status quo during the banking crisis. Populism now cemented into politics ever since as a means to explain widening equality when the 'other' aren't migrants, benefit claimants etc but those in power

Started my medical career as a foundation doctor in Derriford straight from Medical School in London - wonderful hospital and still miss the Hoe and Barbican all these years later... Was so long ago that we all went to the opening of Drake's Circus!!

I think the biggest concern is that he doesn't complete his full term (as a doctor he clearly has evidence of at the very least FTD or possible Parkinsonism plus syndrome). The question would then be JD Vance leading as a surrogate for Thiel/Musk...

Agreed it's equivalence journalism that has partly led too Brexit, Trump etc. There needs to be an ability of outlets to state that certain positions are not true: it is the ongoing reluctance to do so that has allowed the questioning of basic truths to be eroded
