Still remember the 'end-of-the-world' moan the C-17s made, when turning into the glideslope at Brize Norton, which you could hear from Oxford. Somehow, no one but me seemed to notice them, or care.

This is a collection of all contemporary accounts of the Woodville / Burgundy emprise of 1467 with some historical context and discussion. All accounts are given in translation or slightly modernized editions, with detailed references to original sources.

yes, just about all universities and their libraries can sponsor, but the BL (BM & all the major 'national' institutions) are barred from sponsoring visas because they are considered part of the government (or however it's phrased). So the Bodleian could sponsor a visa but the BL can't

Although, keep in mind the BL can't sponsor a visa so you will need a valid right-to-work in the UK on your own. EU citizenship does not count (so far as I know).

They seemed to be in the habit of placing the name of the Chief J. at the head of the plea or justices side, after the title. The foot of the roll has the name of the clerk doing that particular part of the record.

I think in post-conquest England, they had rules for criminal juries from the start, where they couldn't have food or drink, or leave until they decided a verdict. Most criminal jury trials lasted less than 5-15 minutes anyway.

I don't want to sound all needy and such, but could we also get funding to employ the Canadian academics that are already here? (It's been 3 years since my last reaching gig, and I'm going crazy)
