Gotta wait for the consultants to give their thoughts first, unfortunately they don't work on Fridays.

Unfortunately that is where we are. Court orders being ignored, no enforcement to begin with, it's a mess.

Let me thaw out these ribs.

The way they kept saying, "well our hands are tied, we really can't do anything," and people going along with it???

Schumer is writing a very nicely worded email right now.

It's not even a speed bump.

This hurricane season is going to be brutal. Between the AI farms using so much power, to FEMA basically telling everyone they are on their own to NOAA not having enough staff to accurately forecast even daily weather, we are screwed.

That seat at the table is a to-go bag.

She would definitely be surprised. Pics, videos, 3D imaging all get asked for by women these days, 😂.

The owners are always so short-sighted. Maintaining your own media wing is more important than the quick buck you get from unloading it.

Both.

I have been wondering the same thing. Use your own platforms to get your message out there.

Just embarrassing. They will think they are really doing something too. Much like Schumer doing the press conferences with the big posters in the background.

Do you think any of us give a fuck about that? You are so out of touch.

I saw a YouTube video about how dollar stores hurt small towns and run real grocery stores out of the market. They hurt any market they are in, TBH.

And they would vote for him again if given the opportunity

This. All that on a platter separately is fine. But just dumping it all on top of each other isn't even practical. Just some crap for social media.

People are in motion and active everyday. I have seen more "militant" groups who on the surface hate each other starting to coordinate.

We are very close to widespread violence. ICE are terrorizing communities and eventually they and their allies are going to fight back.

I still need to play that. So many games...

The commercial is weird. Probably would do better just being straight forward. I thought it was a spoof at first.
comment in response to post
Probably a good way for people to try it out to see if they would like 26.

No. They don't know how to talk to anyone without a script.

You know, with Trump in office, the Dems should have a groundswell of support and popularity right now. They are completely blowing this in a way that I didn't think was possible.

Who does he think is going to vote for him now?

I hit the trifecta. Photography, DJing, and camping.

So that was just a promotional stunt for this book? SMH

I haven't given them a dime either, BTW.

That's the feeling of a lot of people, and it's spreading. I am wondering if the mid terms are going to be a disaster as a result.

AI is becoming such a problem already. So much fake content that people are falling for as fact.

With that said...I have no idea why people are vacationing here.

I never really stopped and thought about available housing being the reason people are moving to Houston. I guess I take it for granted.
comment in response to post
I believe I must have aged out of whatever people come here to do because I am confused as well. It might be a situation of people on social media acting like Houston is the place to be, so they come to see what the hype is about.

The party continues to rely on consultants who do the minimum as far as research.
comment in response to post
They want "respectable" minorities. Not the ones too loud and will talk back. That makes the white men running shit become nervous.
comment in response to post
This is who the party is, even at a local level. I remember during the Biden campaign, the local Dems didn't want groups involved who were "too Black" or "too ratchet". Looking at the Harris campaign, they refused to work with certain Latino groups for similar reasons.

The head of the DNC has two college age sons who told him they never hear about the party, so that conversation has turned into this.

Most reporters are just microphone stands and transcribers.

Chris Murphy agreed, but he also acknowledged that no one in Dem leadership is interested in getting big money out of the party. So they aren't going to rail against the alliance of weather & power. I am fully aware that those comments may be hypocritical.

That was discovered awhile ago.

Or in Texas. I have been wondering myself how that's going to play out. My thought is he will ignore the hurricanes and keep it moving.

The left has voices that are...left. The leaders want GOP-light.
