Perhaps loss of seniority privileges at age 70 would incentivize timely retirements.

Sadly, the Clooney Fundraiser and the fact that RFK Jr. runs HHS are deeply connected.

No disrespect to the great work Marc Elias is engaged in, but I've not heard any substantive argument about how Tapper and Thompson misrepresented what happened.

Standing up to Trump does not entail ignoring how Trump became elected in 2024. Democratic voters supported Biden in 2020 because he said he was going to be a bridge for a younger leadership and would serve for one term. In 2024, most democratic voters did not want Biden to run for a term.

An honest electoral analysis should include polling that most people thought Biden was too old and that Democrats thought he should be a one-term president.

On Ezra Klein's podcast, Christopher Rufo laid out how he sees the Feds as a major donor to universities who must play a role in shaping universities to Trump's agenda (losing CRT, DEI and BDS). Tanking biomedical research is leverage. And who really cares about science or academic integrity?

The Pew Research Center has polling data that shows a majority disapprove deporting an immigrant illegally living in the U.S. if they have a job (56%) or a child (60%) or are married to a U.S. citizen (78%) or illegally immigrated as a child (68%).

Perhaps the greatest distinction between the college and non -college educated voters, besides economics, is their information ecosystems. It seems the Harris campaign utterly failed to engage with the media they needed to.

I also want to see reporting on what white voters who voted for Trump will think when they lose their health benefits and hear from Trump that lowering prices is "really hard".
