Nice! I use coconut oil to dissolve it (and get it off pet paws and soles of shoes). Works best on fresher sap, so for maintenance moving forward maybe.

Dillon is so chill and mature. He'll just watch quietly as Shedeur implodes.

Cornelius is the 9th Oregon player picked in the 2025 NFL Draft so far, setting a program record with over a round to go. #GoDucks

Some of them are speaking up. On Monday, Sen. Wyden (Ore.) had a roundtable with business owners where they explained how tariffs have led to cancelled orders, price increases and lower margins.

Trump doesn't have the cards, I guess.

Here we go... who is going to make them do it?

Once again, elementary school staff are standing up to ICE while the wealthiest, most powerful universities in the country meekly hand students over to anyone who shows up in black balaclavas and an unmarked car

Not surprising they are bending over. Gannett is more of a vulture fund than a news corp.

Reddit has anecdotes: "But now my prices have gone up ~54%~ 104% overnight. Just like if Trump dropped a bomb on my house, there's nothing I can do. I can't move my entire supply chain in a week. I can't come up with an extra $50k for the shipment I have in transit. I placed an order 3 months ago."

Gannett (USA Today) has destroyed regional newspapers across the country by starving them of reporting resources. It has happened in Eugene, Ore., too, at the Register-Guard which used to be robust when family owned and now is basically a high school and college sports shell.

Yes, I did our shopping on Friday morning and felt the same way. It reminded me of early March 2020.

What a weak and decadent populace, this country. Just fallen fruit rotting on the ground.

I don't think it's even money that they want anymore. Like Gollum's precious, they want the ring of power, and it's never enough.

idk, I think most people see it as a bargaining gambit. Like, he's just gonna extract valuable concessions from many countries in our favor and then the tariff will "fade away." Some kind of "carry a big stick" facade a la Teddy Roosevelt. Not saying I agree!

I was at Versailles last fall and learned the nobles were indeed nearly prisoners. If they didn't dress in the latest expensive styles, they were basically cancelled by King Louis. Not to mention needing to maintain exquisite manners and bring juicy gossip to court and stay for a long, long time.

This is sort of why I think they might not privatize the national parks and social security/medicare. These are the "things people like." 🤷♀️
