In theory, it should be easy for her to make a throw off the plate, but that likely goes against her entire approach, and changing one's approach in a big situation is a recipe for screwing up.

She also doesn't really try to get people to chase laterally. Her primary chase ball is her riser, which she generally throws over the plate. He screwball catches the edge or just off it, but it's not way out there.

I was pretty sure she was going to swing at some point after I saw the first pitch. It was too close, and I muttered "What the hell is she thinking?" And then the second one was just at the top of the zone too. Third one was high, but the fourth pitch was where the first two were.
