Well fab technology is the cutting edge of science and we don’t like that in the US anymore anyways, right? Those workers can screw the screws into the iPhones instead. It’s what GOP voters want so give it to them.

But it was worth it to make sure a woman wasn’t elected president. Or someone whose views didn’t align 100% with the protest voters. So it’s all good.
comment in response to post
Yes. And probably all women too.

I’d like to see some data on this. I went to a community organizing meeting (to resist the current administration). In our breakout groups two men kept talking about Bernie. Yes he’s great that’s good. But when asked if they voted for Harris they said no. Why? She didn’t have enough experience. 🤔

Hmmm… 53 Republican senators? Silence is surrender.

Biden Derangement Syndrome is the term, right?

Time for the California senators to send a strongly worded letter, right? 🙄

I like that Buffet is lauded as the CEO of BH and the “Oracle of Omaha” and is regularly on the home pages of WSJ, CNBC, and the NYT but all of sudden he is completely helpless here lol.
comment in response to post
BH owns Sees candies. Sees pays their retail employees less than fast food workers. That was the point. So yeah, you’re right, but something tells me if the “Oracle of Omaha” said “We need to pay them just a little bit more and the VPs just a little bit less” it would probably get done.
comment in response to post
Good sentiment. Maybe pay your retail workers more than minimum wage. Maybe a livable wage. That’s kind. And decent.

At this point, so long as this guy can follow a court order and not be disturbingly obsessed with people’s crotches and bathrooms he’s got my support. This is my new standard.

I didn’t know Aussie storms came with ominous soundtracks! This is helpful, entertaining, and just another example of how America is a failing nation. 😉

I’m sure his soul soared during his detention when he thought about the two dollars he’d save from tax cuts and knowing that trans people could no longer use the bathroom.
comment in response to post
I wonder if while detained he was thankful for that big tax relief he’s not going to get because he’s not a billionaire.

I am one of your constituents and I’ll be honest - I’m a little more concerned about the lack of due process going around and the possibility of ending up in some foreign prison/concentration camp.

I saw it quite awhile ago and thus never voted for him.

To be fair, it’s the Trump administration so they’ll tell you they’re giving them $10,000 but all they will get in the end is $1 of Melania’s meme coin.
comment in response to post
Oh you mean there’s a downside to rampant misogyny?
comment in response to post
Imagine being a small business who voted for exactly this and being perfectly happy because you owned the libs and those pesky trans people can’t use the bathroom anymore. Sure you’re going bankrupt but you won.

To be fair, this admin and ICE are not exactly cognitive aces so this makes complete sense that ideas would not be welcome.

They’ll need to appeal to heaven cause Jesus is gonna have some words with them about their cruelty.

Social security is sort of the least of the problems if any one of us can get randomly sent to El Salvador without due process.

Well, so far, it has been the straights that have crashed the modern economy in the US thus far. But also, if you’re looking for the opposite of manly, gay ain’t it.

Interesting choice to use the word “whisk” as though he was placed in Glinda’s magic bubble on the way to said prison.
