No, it's a "miracle".
The other 240 poor souls, less of a miracle.

Hmm could still be the cinema field in 2008 tbf.
The murky weather and the england flag made me reach.

Could it be as old as 1998 - the old cinema field - possibly for the Columbia game?

Well that's me (and probably you) never sleeping properly with an early alarm set again.*

I'd like a fridge that keeps the food and beer cold but not so cold that it freezes it.
When they've finally cracked that maybe they can move onto my diary.

There's an edgy Channel 4 drama mini series in this somewhere.

I'm not sure I'll ever understand today's youth choosing the gym over getting shitted at the pub.
You fools, enjoy that metabolism whilst you can!

Some of us endure the gym for just long enough and want to get done asap. Anyone doing anything at all to impede that annoys those unreasonable people, of which I'm obviously not one. Obviously..

Some kind pumping music to get their adrenaline flowing. I listen to political podcasts to get me mad and moving.
Though the anon does have a point of those that "rest" whilst Doom scrolling...

Can now relate with Dory's short term memory issues.

Hmm.. this image turns up in this article from a year ago. Not sure how trustworthy that site is but this post looks fake.

If he tries to put tariffs on Snake Bite Black he'll soon find out.

Yeah my first year was 1998 (maybe 97?). I paid. Then there was a couple of much cheaper years one involving a sprint away from a security guard on a horse. Ah, different times.
Only real advantage now is tent theft is down as is the risk of crushes.

Just checked - paid £109 for the coach from Manchester so I'm already in for £500 (thankfully the cost has been spread with the deposit and balance payments).
It's becoming an expensive do in general

I'm going on the coach and camping with the great unwashed. I bet the whole weekend ends up costing me close to a £1k after a few beers and some overpriced eats.

Yes a lot of money - Some spent £10k. But isn't this for 6 people?
If so 6 tickets at £380 a pop is already £2,280. If this is right they've paid £1,666.67 a head for glamping and the festival.
A lot of coin, not what I'd pay but not quite the headline of £16k each either.

This comment is unfair on both Neil Diamond and Poundland.

If you ever want to understand humanity and how it's so wrong on so many things just read the comments.

Siri show me as example of an industry completely ignoring its user's desires and feedback.

I do wonder if there are even *any* dissenting voices in the meetings where these things are decided.
"Yeah, shouldn't we at least A/B test this change and gather user feedback?"

I'm old enough to remember when tech changes used to be something they were advertised, we wanted and would then even pay for. Rather than was just pushed on us. Relentless AI rollout really is blind to feedback / user concerns.

Sick of crap produce. Sweetcorn, lettuce, rotten onions, flavourless tomatoes.
The lack of range as well since Brexit.

The world is at each other's throats, the environment is dying, people are hungry and this is what we get?
I really struggle to understand how religious folk continue to believe in a higher, compassionate being.
