He can say whatever he wants, but It’s clearly outside his power. Probably outside his influence as well.

My wife and i were planning on buying a new Toyota later this year and we just talked yesterday about how that probably won’t happen if these tariffs hit.

Caring for someone with Alzheimer’s is very stressful, and combed with being I’ll herself, she may have just been overwhelmed and made some mistakes. I feel so bad for both of them

I think there’s some valid purposes behind un-mined crypto, but this does seem to attract some questionable characters.

That was an over-simplification but i think it pretty accurate. Inverter based resources such as solar, wind, and batteries do not synchronously spin like traditional resources and do not naturally provide inertia.
comment in response to

Great article, I think it is very interesting and fair. When you say “inertia” i think you referred to the inertia of market changes. “Inertia” is a term used in electric power engineering to refer to the ability of the system to remain stable and withstand adverse electrical events.

Everyone needs to quit trying to win this argument. Too many entities have lied to push their theories on both sides of the argument.

I have 2 girls who like superhero movies but won’t get into DC with me. But they will be super psyched because of the dog! (And Fillion, because of Castle re-runs)

I know what Warren said, but you’d think someone who has been around the NFL as long as he has, who may have further career ambitions beyond his medium-term job security, would want to install his own GM.

That wasn’t the claim. He committed crimes unrelated to profiting off his father.

Thanks Sonny, I think this closely aligns with my feelings as well. Especially the embarrassment.

He might have faced a lower bar than others usually do for prosecution, but he also used his profile to earn employment he was clearly unqualified for. Too bad for him. If Dems are going to be the party of law and order they must act that way.

Do you know what would be a completely reasonable pardon? Protecting the people Trump has threatened with prosecution. Fauci, Cheney, Vindman, etc. I hope he still does. But whether you like it or not, Hunter was convicted fairly in court.

Democracy is over, so might as well start throwing the rules out the window now while the guy who can is on our side, right? Even when the action accomplishes nothing (life in danger, please!). Democratic norms matter! That’s why I voted for Biden because he wouldn’t do what he did. I’m furious.
comment in response to

Idiotic. So this is how they fight Trump, by pardoning his son? That will win votes and save democracy.
