Hi Lizardbeth!
I took a quick screen grab and wrote some notes about setting up a compressor filter in OBS.
It sounds like your mic is clipping (too much dB) as you raise your voice. To fix that, I recommend applying a 2:1 ratio compression with a threshold of -18 dB.

That's a bummer. I'm a bit of a night owl myself, so I understand the struggle. Wish you luck on sleep training yourself to go to bed earlier. Biggest thing to help with that I find is avoiding screen time at least an hour before bed.
