Gutted that I'll be at a poetry recital in Ripon. Would have loved this one!

Not with Stewart Lee, who has been known to tell audiences if they've been shite (yes, Sheffield, I mean you)

We've even had them turned into calendars and cross-stitch patterns. No one quite knows what to expect now at Christmas.

We inherited one of these plates and now take it in turns to 'gift' it to each other at Christmas. At some point duplicates were bought. No one now knows how many there are, which is the original and who has them. Makes for a laugh on Christmas day though

Thanks to the progressive education of the 70s and early 80s, we didn't get taught grammar. First time I ever heard of a verb was learning Spanish in high school.

Loved that Shadow Man was from my home village (and similar to an unexplained incident in our house but with a figure way under 7 feet tall), but then they mentioned the Black Monk House in Ponte - across the road from a school I used to lead. Heard many great stories from people about that house!!

Yeah the stats can be used as required but the golf course comparison is always an interesting one

Depends where you look, some sources have 1.3 and 1.8% respectively for housing/golf.

1.75% of land used for residential use (far less than golf courses)

Weird things happen in our house often. But this one we knew was due to the wobbly foundations (or at least, we think it is!!)

We live in the village and have a cabinet that opens on its own due to slight subsidence from mining activities. What it doesn't do is open when locked and taped shut!!

Just watched it today... Filmed in my village!!! I'd heard about the graveyard shoot but didn't realize it would be this series.

We have a one hour timer on. Most cash at the end of the hour wins the game. Always good fun and very few fights!

I've been texting Humanity in school this term and it's amazing how many children have said they think that's what they are. Not religious but believe in being fair and kind.
