I did not know who you were before people I follow reposted your Summer Course information. This site may be an "echo chamber" but it is echoing education, discourse, and humanity. Your frank assessments also make me laugh quite a bit. I look forward to continuing to learn from you and others here

My dad called me stupid because I pronounced Arkansas "are-kansas". *what are they teaching you in school?!* I had only ever read it, never heard it spoken, I think I was in 4th or 5th grade.

The unibal Signo pens (I like the 7mm) are some of the smoothest pens I have ever used. I also used to have a speed ball pen and inkwell for calligraphy in high school that was a lot of fun.

I am listening to Freedom Is A Constant Struggle right now. I have added a few of these to my listening list, thank you!

Yay! An outdoor space will really help, especially if you can make it comfortable in all seasons. Fresh air is great, and it can be a space for you guys to spend quality time together.

These "space trips" are aggravating in general anyways, they aren't going to what most people think of as space. They are leaving the atmosphere just far enough to technically be in space, without going far enough to need any of the training that actual astronauts need. Pure publicity stunt.

This is not certainty and predictability. The only thing certain and predictable about this is that he will change his mind in a few days and throw everything into chaos again. The Congress and Senate bodies need to use their authority to stop his bullying and flouting of the laws and Constitution.

Yes, it will suck for a lot of people (service and hospitality industries, which are usually working multiple low wage jobs to make ends meet), but we need to show that these things are NOT OK.

You are brilliant. Mass resignation/ walk off at musk and bezos owned companies would be killer.

I just emailed Marilyn Strickland to give you her support in this resolution. The Powell Memo and Citizens United are two of the most disastrous things to our government.

While I appreciate the effort, what will actually happen when they don't comply in 14 days. Because we all know they won't.

I think you may be missing the point. In 2020 if you were arrested at a protest, there still had to be a reason for you to be detained. In the current climate there are no such personal protections, and the constitution is worth nothing right now. If there is no plan you are not safe.
