I think the phrase is: "We have to pass the bill so you can find out what is in it"

Just a point of clarification before we go on. It is a fact that people lost their jobs if they didnt take the vaccine. That is beeing forced to. Also, most of the companies (including federal agencies) were following OHSA requirements to do so. /1

exists for the D's as well. This is why I think it wont make it into a signed bill. This is the good thing about shared power. What is good for goose is good for the gander (seeing that in real life as the DOJ is now being used to target people on the left instead of the other way aorund) /end

Thank you for this. I am not sure I trust the source but let's say it is legit for the moment. It is totally within the Leg. Branch's power to restrict the court. Hell they could wipe out whole districts if they want. And remember, if the R's are dumb enough to do this, that power exists /1

I dont like his plan but it does put organized labor in a pickle doesnt it? /end

argument and the same one my blue collar union families made in the 80s. He wants to force it back here by making the cost of cheap goods the same price as expensive labor goods made here. So as a proponent of "organised labor", you are essentially agreeing with him. Is that true? /2

Probably will end in tears but I will try one time. 🙂
One one side is complaints on this site that labor costs are too high and that is why it wont come back and yet your argument seems to be labor costs need to be high because "organized labor". Actually DJT is making your organized labor /1

That's an outstanding reply offering a insightful counter argument to what actually happened. But "snappy but inane comebacks" I guess are always a thing....

I think it ended when the government forced people to take it or lose their jobs by plying some OHSA regulations.

who cares what he says. Wake me up when he actually has done something I should be concerned about on this topic. 🙄

the MAGA folks sound like those on the left when DJT was being prosecuted. Look at how many "no one is above the law" posts being shoved back in people's faces. There is a way to avoid it though: simply be intellectually consistent and not red/blue team 😀
I find it works best for me

All other things you mentioned may be worth a discussion but are irrelevant to whether the judge broke the law. No matter how people feel, and they can break the law in thier outrage to "resist", breaking the law means conseuences as the J6'ers found out /end

This conversation could range far afield so I will try to keep it narrow. Federal officials operating within federal jurisdiction in which the boundaries are all of the US. Some state cant name themselves off limits (supremect clause). Now to interfere with a federal officer is a felony. /1

and they were in a public space. no one can impeded them. I cant believe people are getting bent around the axle on this. She had every right to do what she thinks was right from her "moral" view. That does not mean she didnt break the law :-(
In fact, most "resistence" ends up breaking the law.

Your link clearly states you do not have to let them into your house. From an "arrest standpoint" it is as valid as any other arrest warrant. And the law that was broken was interfering with Federal Officials executing their duty to arrest someone. u may not like it, but the judge broke the law
