I understand the food safety theory of perpetual stew. But it still weirds me out a bit too much I think.

Basically, lack of crossover between people with a strong interest in buying crypto and those with a lot of actual US dollars.

Mel (on satellite phone): I've reached my limit, I think it's time to tap out.
Producer (standing 2m away): We haven't even dropped you off yet. We're still at base camp.
Mel: I know my limits!

Same same.
I don't like the taste of sugary Coke as much. And I definitely don't like the mouth feel afterwards.

Yeah, the ability to turn crypto into actual real money is very dubious in many cases.
One of countless reasons it's all a bullshit scam.

Imagine being a small business and just not finishing something more than six years after you said you would?
And this isn't even considering the ways in which massive companies flout laws and engage in the sorts of "creative" accounting that no regular worker would ever dream of.

Yup. Single-party recording laws are, on the whole, beneficial.
Audio recording could probably be added to intimate recording law easily without obvious negative impacts.

Largest recorded single transaction was close to US$1 billion, but was wallet-to-wallet with no evidence of a USD exchange.
And it dropped the market by up to 2% almost immediately.

Ah, the classic scam bait. Tons of it on Facebook, hardly surprising it's prolific on X too.

I'm sure I read an article a couple of years ago that, among other criticisms of bitcoin, estimated the largest realistic USD liquidation... I can't remember the number but I feel like it was surprisingly low. Tens of millions tops?
Quick search didn't surface the article unfortunately.

Maybe.
But I feel like a reconciliation is hindered by the fact that both are massive egotists who will be completely unable to back down or be contrite.

It would be a terrible precedent.
But it also seems a plausible thing that could happen given the administration's awful approach to immigration law.

Nah that was Starship. Dragon is the one they actually use to get things (and people) to and from ISS.

Except it won't be, because, as with so many things, the "sides" hold themselves to different standards.
Labour, the Greens and TPM just wouldn't see fit to wield power in this way.

There was a time once, where I had "Online Editor" credits in shows screening simultaneously on TV1, TV2 and TV3!
Things are slower now.

According to Meta's "Ad Library" this page is not currently running ads, and has never run any ads... And yet...

As much as I dislike the financial scam ads on Facebook, I find these medical ones even more offensive. And they are explicitly illegal, and a blatant violation of Meta's terms... And yet...
