welcome to the right side of history

it's a genuine thing of good to be as forward about it as you are here i think, because it's super easy to forget that something you're about to buy/play/whatever is an ms thing. they're so all encompassing! so bringing it up like this, it keeps it at the back of my mind, and i appreciate that.

i understand all the surly and condescending old people so well nowadays, i hope to become like them one day.

the way all of the gamma bros' attacks get visual sound effects on the screen is the most soulful shit ever. i think the only 3d animation i've seen that's as good is, fitting enough i guess, the sand land anime. that shit looks gorgeous.

forgot to continue this train of thought yesterday; what worries me is seeing any and all discourse be nothing but people clapping like seals over references to 0079 or gooning over the latest pretty woman. i know anime discourse is comically low quality but it doesn't motivate me to watch it lol.

i think that'd probably work best. the problem with tuning numbers otherwise to make parry not fully block damage is you'd risk turning it into a race of attrition, one where you're reliant on the right person being attacked so they can get ap back to be able to heal.

it doesn't seem like it's getting any kind of theatrical run at all here in sweden at least. the visuals of it are genuinely really cool, and probably go much harder on the big screen, so would still be worth it.

the problem for me has always been that it takes me about an hour and a half of travel to get to the theater, and then the same time back, so it's not always i can find the time or energy for it. i love it when i'm actually there though.
