Reeves is correct in what she is saying right now. Her reform of the fiscal rules to differentiate investment from current spending was crucial. There's much to criticise her for, but she gets nowhere near enough recognition for this.

One of the biggest winners? Ed Miliband! The minister who commentators keep insisting is imminently for the chop or is having his budget slashed, whispering net zero is in doubt or GB Energy is being quietly binned. The reality is he got the the biggest increase in capital and GBE alone got £8bn.

This isn't about anyone in particular. Most people are very supportive of the stuff I do on YouTube and I feel positive that it's making a difference. But recently I've had a few comments complaining about something I've done as not being good enough. Maybe people think activism is my...

The idea that being against the starvation and annihilation of civilians in Gaza means you are for the 7 Oct attacks is complete poison. The way this proposition, constantly put forward by Israeli officials, always goes unchecked, is utterly hateful www.theguardian.com/world/live/2...

Traffic to news sites is plummeting as Google has rolled out AI overviews which provides answers without needing to click on links. Google had no choice but to respond to the rise of tools like ChatGPT and Perplexity but this definitely feels like a snake eating its own tail.

RFK Jr.‘s extreme anti-vax views — and his related conflicts of interest — were a huge problem during his confirmation process. So he promised not to change the vaccine advisory panel. Today, he fired every single expert on that panel. It's a public health disaster.
