Very sad to read this.

Never understood why any politician in a country that claims separation of powers can on a whim overrule the considered judgement of a court. It is an anomalous power more suited to autocrats and absolute monarchy’s than a modern, liberal democracy.

So what is Moscow Musk senior doing with a sanctioned individual & will there be consequences? Perhaps not in the Democratic Peoples Republic of Trumpland, but in Europe?
comment in response to post
Entirely agree, sanction them individually, any business they own or are connected to and identify and sanction any business or individual financially supporting them or the regime. Hit them where it hurts most. Make it financially unviable for business to back them.

We mistakenly thought they were not so stupid as to launch an invasion of Ukraine. Never underestimate the levels of stupidity a desperate Muscovite dictator can achieve!

Simple solution, release the hostages.

I want to see the poisonous dwarf running and squealing for his life chased by a blue and yellow drone! Blowing up a few of his antiquated tanks in front of the public would finally get the message across to the deliberately blind Muscovite public.

Nice shot! Does this mean Muscovia now has futuristic underwater jet aircraft? Wow!
comment in response to post
You mean he put his vodka bottle down long enough to look at a calendar? Shows they are running scared and they know Ukraine is fully capable of achieving the strike and their air defence systems won’t be able to stop it. Oh dear, how sad.

I do love a good fireworks show, so good of the kind Ukrainians to put on this display to cheer up the despondent Muscovite rabble!
comment in response to post
Good, sincerely hope they listened.

Like the picture, but not sure what the dead malformed chicken has to do with it?

Now come on, no hedging or euphemisms say what you really mean!

Bit by bit their confidence and grip on power must be chipped away. Power to the Georgian people!

Now that’s a photograph I could happily have on my wall.

And are all involved to be prosecuted for aiding and abetting war crimes? The only appropriate response is to prosecute them and seize all their assets. Hit them in the only place they really care about.

I can only say good luck.

While I think the de-colonisation of the Muscovite empire would be a very good thing, unfortunately they have over centuries carried out ethnic cleansing and diluted the colonies with so called russian speakers, destroying the culture and replacing it with the colonisers.
comment in response to post
I think this is a symbol that needs to be everywhere alongside the official one. Would say replacing it but the corrupt IOC would never agree unless bribed and I doubt we can find that many brown envelopes.

Purely a personal view but I see a closer parallel to the fall of the Roman Republic rather than the empire.

Come on let’s call Witkoff by his proper name, Witless, he has taken on a job for which he is supremely unqualified, lacking the intellectual grounding and understanding to even begin to comprehend how out of his depth he is, drowning and dragging everyone else down with him.

Only if they have a stolen toilet to take with them.

That long! Wow, amazing. And they said poo Tin wasn’t one of the good guys!

Got the idea and a flying start on the technology from the Horton flying wing.

Regrettably once trust and respect are lost it can take a lot to regain, if at all. There will remain a lingering doubt that if done once it may happen again.

You need a pump,a compressor, a power source and pipes. Could get a bit heavy😀🇬🇧.

In the spirit of democracy I always say, vote early and vote often!….Oh no this is Canada not Russia or the USA, sorry just the once😂.

Easter is the celebration of the resurrection, hopefully soon we can join you in celebrating the resurrection of democracy. By the way beautiful church in the picture, I love its exterior simplicity.

Thank you for the information. Please see my response to Two all the way who posted a similar response

I assume immigration judges are judges and presumably a part of the judiciary, though via a different department of government. I amend my comment, part of the judiciary is not independent, still not a healthy situation as they still make decisions affecting peoples lives and liberty.

That is precisely how a fascist dictatorship both gains control and controls the population by fear to retain power. Stop it before it is too late. Rise up in your own defence or submit, the only two choices you have.

Hope the people got out safely. Trucks we can replace.

Saves on ammunition. Let Muscovite ineptitude do the job for you.

The up side of this is he isn’t doing anything worse when he is golfing. Maybe he should golf all day every day. Might prove cheaper than letting him in to the Oval Office.

Never fancied visiting the US, too many guns & idiots, that was before the village idiot took over the government. Now I really don’t fancy a free trip to a holiday camp, sorry ICE detention centre. Anyway got a continent full of culture, good food, & wine next door. But Canada looks good!

Saves the Ukrainians the bother. Conservation of ammunition.

Bonfire of the stupid and credulous. Sad to see because it is so unnecessary, it could have been avoided, all they needed to do was stay home.
comment in response to post
Doesn’t mean they can’t blow the shit out of every legitimate target, especially the Muscovite oil and gas infrastructure. No more exports, no more fuel for the military.
comment in response to post
Then they would be no better than the Muscovite scum. Ukrainians are way better than that, they obey international law not because they have to but because they are decent and moral and recognise it is right
comment in response to post
Come on now it’s no good holding back like that, say what you really think!
