Theres something eternally tiresome in how y'all refuse to hold voters responsible for their decisions. There are two choices in our elections, to refuse to be pragmatic is insane.

The left and the right got together and told everyone how much they should hate Clinton and they voted Trump, wrote in Bernie, or stayed home.
comment in response to post
Except it does. That was 2016 in a nutshell.

Quit trying to romanticize He killed people. He shot and killed two people, got in his fake police car and tried to kill two more. He's on the run, not turning himself in to face what he did.

No one has been throwing insulin at T1s. We've been paying extortion amounts for it up until the last 5 years. I wish there was a way for him to feel what it's like to not have enough insulin. He'd last 3 seconds.

You weren't trying to end the genocide, you were punishing Dems. And what all that accomplished is opening the door to harming other people in the name of people you aren't actually saving. If you don't get that, there's no point in continuing. Good night.

Okay, you won. The genocide is stopped.

In our system we have 2 choices. In 2024 it was very clear with Project 2025 that Trump was a threat to everyone who isn't a white man. Protest voters and non voters could have voted against those things, but they didn't. You can't strategize for those who don't care.
comment in response to post
No, they didn't. Fuck off, Trollio.

Trump told people 'we need to bring all the racism, transphobia, sexism, and homophobia' and 80 million voted for it. Almost the same number stayed home instead of voting against those things. Does that mean that he's a good politician?
comment in response to post
So the citizen has no responsibility in your equation? They don't have to weigh things like Project 2025 or the disaster of his term? This is the whitest white man argument. It reeks of 'I'll be okay."
comment in response to post
That is a dumb take.

You did, shitass. Congrats.

So staying home made it better? There? Here?

His performance was bizarre - young white men voted Trump because they can't 'get women'?? Thats a job for a psychologist, not the DNC. Listen to the base rather than run after more white folk who turn on a dime and apparently think the President's job to make them feel good and get them laid.

Ken, as a DFLer all my life, from my first election to the last election, a Democrat - if you mean this, the only choice is the PAC or the DNC. What started out as ageist drivel (which many see as trying to remove elder Black lawmakers for young white men, and I don't think they're wrong).

If you fly Oligarch Air you can make sure the only people you see think you're fighting for them.

Ahhh, yes. The people who believed masking during covid was 'like rape' and taking a vax was rewriting their DNA. The models of shared sacrifice.

You and the leftists made a choice to give power to people with a literal playbook to destroy the country. Y'all discounted every move the Biden administration made to try to mitigate in Gaza. Which is a foreign country, in case you missed it. This is what you protest voted for.

I'm not saying someone should, but putting MS 13 on knuckles in photoshop is popular at the White House, I hear.

... this is the kind of thinking that gets you from 'it'd be good to have peanut butter cups in the vending machine' to 'they're trying to kill us with peanut allergies'

I've been told he's the most liked person in the Senate. So you'd think he'd be able to sway 4 Republican Senators. But of course he might need to be in DC. But no sweet, sweet donations being in DC.
comment in response to post
The folks who didn't vote sent Dems in with the knife.

The left stayed home. Twice. When told what was going to happen, again and again, they doubled down. TWICE. What on earth makes you think they won't again?
comment in response to post
What he's doing is the only thing he's done since 2016, working on fractionating the Dems. He's done nothing to advance those causes from 10 yrs ago. He has no collation, but because of that he can be loud. And collect donations. And never expect he'll have to follow through.

How did he give Rs more power?

Progressives, sometimes, win Congressional districts. Nothing else. Now you had a progressive President, you'd just all rather cut your noses off than give him any credit because he was old.

nymag.com/intelligence... “One of the aspects of this tour is to try to rally people to get engaged in the political process and run as independents outside of the Democratic Party,” Sanders said.

Then why is he encouraging people to not support Democrats? Because Bernard's supporters and staff have bragged about voting for JillS. The time to be on side was in November, and that's not where the Bernie fans were.

There are accounts on YouTube that make AI versions of actors, etc striding toward the camera, huge and muscly in fur jackets with no shirt and an animal familiar that's sometimes humanish. Think minotaur. I'm pretty sure that's their headcanon.

But that guy will be perfect! He will tell them they are right! And he will be a white guy! Not too old.

And staying home making up weirder and weirder lies about Democrats led to the right now. So, congratulations, the people of Gaza will be throwing you a parade any second for using them.

Circular firing squads are why we can't have nice things.

Well, now that Netanyahu's been arrested, everything's good, right?
comment in response to post
Why did you make the choice in 2016? Why didn't you vote for Hillary, and why have you never taken responsibility for it?
comment in response to post
So your solution to not having high enough numbers is to reduce the number? This is why we can't have nice things, dude.

This may be a shock to you, but Americans voters had the chance to stop the fascists, and they either voted for it or stayed home.
