Interesting choice. Has pro-sports and College experience. Maybe with the NIL world, this is the future of that role. Someone who has worked in both?

That would be ok too. I like having those division games spread out all year. Keeps it interesting. End of a long season, say a team had a ton of injuries by then and you face them or are them in the same matchups so close together?

Madrid in November sounds pretty great.

I don't get the need for 4 division games at the end of the year. Spread those out more. 2 to end the year. That's fine.

Davey is in a tough spot. He already gave him more emotional "we" comments a few days ago aimed at his players. They've dfa'd a few relievers. Only thing left probably is to dfa Bell and move on from Coles to send a message. Otherwise, when does everyone tune him out?

You knew Dallas was getting it.

At the end of last season when Davey announced Coles and Hickey were returning, more than a few were surprised. Talent isn't good enough for sure. But coaching means something too, right? Maybe different eyes and voices were needed more than Davey would admit.

You should do these for a bunch of different teams with animal mascots. Looks like a Hanna Barbara cartoon.

I don't understand with the weather being iffy, that they don't have the 1st game today start like at 1, and the 2nd game 30-45 after. 3:30 and 7:30 make no sense. They play again tomorrow at noon. How is that far to the players who need some time to record?

This was one of our best away uniforms.

They must listen to your podcast

Yeah? I am hoping for a vibe that we got from Guardians of the galaxy 1. The ads have me that impression too. Looking forward to it.

Ok. That works. As long as there is at least two guys working in camp and the preseason.
comment in response to post
Fine. I'd still have a camp battle.

like the idea of a competition. Not high on this guy. Would prefer having in a handful of college kickers do a little mini one day competition. Then the winner of that gets a camp invite to take on Zane.

Its a location that has the potential for a lot, Gov. Question is, what can be built there that draws people in from MoCo, Howard and DC year round?
comment in response to post
He was all over the place in that interview.

Roofed means closed all the time? Or retractable? Or partial opening at times?
comment in response to post
This is correct. Right? If they aren't talking about rebuilding for a stadium with no roof that is used a dozen times a year, and instead it's a year-round use venue for sports, concerts, conferences, etc. That's the way to go. What else would you put there to generate new revenue and attract biz?
comment in response to post
1. I doubt the HQ is moving too. They want Virginia to feel loved still. 2. Would be cool 3. Retractable roof or closed roof. Need to be a usable year round for concerts, final 4s, bowl games, conventions 4. Good question 5. Rebuild the metro stops there. Also dining/retail for year round

I would agree there is a high chance they want to trade down. Hopefully, there is someone who wants to trade up into that spot.

The Beach Boys are a ship of theseus paradox now. When do they become "not" the Beach Boys anymore? How many original guys tour under that name? And John Stamos doesn't count. I guess technically Bruce Johnston doesn't either.

only if instead of defending the play. He's in at QB and we see which team can push him further in any direction. Reverse tug-o-war

do you think he plays?
comment in response to post
hmmm. Ok. I was hoping he'd be ready to at least ease in tonight and not playing game one was where he just needed a few more days.
comment in response to post
How are you feeling about Protas tonight?
comment in response to post
If Atlanta eats more of those guarantees, could see someone like Pittsburgh being a trade partner. Then drafting OL and RB. Probably best scenario for everyone involved right now.

Solid episode. Appreciate the not holding back. The track record reply from Davey was embarrassing, and he probably was embarrassed as soon as he said that.

Feels like if they could sit everyone and have Hershey play this game for them, them would.

Saw him as the final opener for Wu Tang at the Anthem downtown. To be honest, he was better than the main act. Funny, engaging, loud. T'was awesome.

Is there a role for Poole moving forward, or is this the summer up to the deadline where they look to trade him too?

Slide a little to your left to the 3rd base line. And as you probably know, when night hits and the city lights up. Favorite park I've been to.

I'm going to go out on a limb and assume that Davey focused 100% on the talent, which when it comes to Poche and Sims, talent isn't the right word. But for some unknown reason, Hickey is feeling zero heat to get more out of what he has.... again.
