I've been having a blast with it! I did all of Eureka last year, and my group has been enjoying it as a replacement for map nights. I think the only thing I'd like to see tweaked is slightly more silver received from FATEs/CEs

It really was! Season 2 was also great, but the first one was lightning in a bottle.

It's kind of amazing looking at how much JUMP did right. It's not necessarily my favorite series of hacks, but there was a ton of forward thinking that went into them. JUMP is almost ten years old but it still feels relevant, which is an incredible accomplishment.

Yeah, that seems to track with what I'm seeing. There's solid ideas but it's not quite a complete package.

Given it's Atlantic City, I'm assuming it's in a casino? Not that it makes it any less ridiculous, but casinos are kind of inherently ridiculous to begin with so at least it's on brand

They're empty buildings. Some of them aren't even standing anymore. To the average person, they're nothing remarkable. Businesses and buildings come and go all the time. But when you talk to the people that were there in the room? They're everything.

Maaaaaaaan, I loved The Break. I didn't go as much as I'd have liked but it was always so cool whenever I did go. College-age Eclipse was always thankful for a break steak

I'm thankful that the proliferation of smartphones and video sharing sites allows these places to exist in some perpetuity on the internet. Whether it's a ballroom in some small hotel or a giant convention center, you can feel something standing somewhere you competed in. These places have meaning.

Not long ago, I went back to look at where Pheasant Run was in St. Charles. The newest picture on Google Street View shows the hotel is blocked off and the Mega Center was demolished and turned into a car dealership. It's no ones fault, but it hurts to see.

There's something inherently magical and borderline sacred to a place that's held so much raw emotion. Had PR not burned down, I dreamed of a short video series for CB10 that had former CB champions visiting the venue and standing in the ballroom to recount what they remember from their wins.
