I heard the 14th St. line ended up in Brussels Belgium. I loved them so as a kid, I snuck on for free rides.
My favorite was through Georgetown, then the long beautiful ride through in the Potomac woods to Glen Echo.
Stinking diesel busses were such a step backwards from a good tram system.
