Sorry if you've already addressed this, but where has episode one gone from Spotify? I have a trip to IKEA MΓ‘laga today; this was really going to take the sting out of that and it's gone...

Mine is not too wonder how, rather 'tis to sit and rock in my chair...and to look forward to wokey-dokey. Good to know there's blood, sweat, tears and black magic at work in the background, though πŸ‘Œ

Not being memorable enough takes decades to achieve. Have some respect.

And as if summoned, one of my favorite pods covers this in today's episode. Well worth a listen @quietriotpod.bsky.social

The world's richest hard right sociopath funding UK politics. Oh good! Can we have Johnson back, please? I had heard about this but thought he'd backed out of the idea. If you've seen reporting of it in the last few days, please post πŸ‘

Sorry to miss it this year. Hope it was fun. Will it be online via Patreon?

What did Mark Twain say? 'Religion started when the first con man met the first fool'. No change there, then.

That's like the really high end of requiring a pint of ale after consumption. The plebs (a group to which I identify) achieve the same state with pork scratchings!

Susana Clark kinda relaxation or the classic Italian/Slovenian dish?

When billionaires control their own narrative & 52% of society is hardened to an ideology they don't even realise is alt-right (Enter Bannon & Farage), where does the centre even start? To quote Alex Andreou, it's always "the bullied having to shake hands with the bully in the headmasters office"

Soul is willing but flesh is weak territory. Feel just that way having closed my Twitter a/c and also don't want to be in an echo chamber. But this kind of social media is going to splinter into chambers because of the unmediated hate. I guess we all morne Twitter thanks to the Space Nazi

I think important to remember, Trump is only running to stay out of prison, Netanyahu is waging more wars to stay out of prison and Putin is waging war to stay alive (failed autocrats don't fair well in Russia). The rest of us fear annihilation at their whim.

UK has same kind of twisted voting system as the US. We have First Past The Post, you have the Electoral College. So popularity, ironically, has little to do with it. A narcissist vs an altruist and the latter will win the popular vote but the former will be president. Go ask the Founding Fathers.

I hate to sound like a conspiracy theorist, but this guy actually is part of an alt-right, global cabal who (for some reason I have yet to fathom) believes in an ideology of nationalistic purism. Part of the Great Replacement Theory. These guys want ratial purity, just like the Nazi's

Just returned a Genesis GV70 Electric after 18 months and deciding which all electric car next. Defo not one manufactured by The Space Nazi.

Defo Not a glorified tablet. A PC for sure. As such check your startup tasks and disable anything you don't like the look of. If things go sideways after a reboot you can re re enable one by one. If you don't have any joy there try removing and reinstalling the drivers for the camera

Okay, just got an infill on Miles. The last major storyline I listened to was Rob and Helen so I can join the dots there. Not sure what Meg would be doing. Another Grundy makes more sense... To try and talk Emmurr into further protecting George from prison. Good input. Thanks.

Maybe around the time she starts enriching herself with the presidency and using the electorate for the singular purpose of staying out of jail. Isn't it obvious?
comment in response to post
Yup. And with the Space Nazi having to service his debt pile for Twitter with Tesla shares, hopefully the far and alt right will just stay there until it dies in about a decade.

I desperately don't want to give a single flying...erm.. rats arse, but I still have that dark place in the far recesses of my amygdala that sees an even greater step to the right. In four years or really will matter if lots of shit that's broken in Blighty 'ain't fixed.

Weirdly comforting that that should be the last thing I take comfort from tonight. No?

Erm, 'Voluntarily' doing some heavy lifting there.

Interesting. Biases are really hard to get a handle on, particularly when there is cognitive awareness of them in the first place. I'd be interested to know at what point you feel comfortable challenging bias reassured that damage won't ensue.

That's your method of engagement? Hostile, brutish and arrogant. You opine only to your given audience?

Erm, so which war crimes are we supposed to be horrified by? And please do tell where we should all be getting our info from. If you are able to distinguish propaganda from fact, I'll gladly follow you.

I wonder what it must be like to have such a readership and to be able to just inject them with hatred. I wonder what kind of cerebral satisfaction she must get. And for her to know that she is kicking her opposition to get a reaction. It's a sociopathic child in a position of power. I wonder....

I thought, perhaps cynically, that we were now living, here in the UK, in a mindset where empathy of that type had been disposed of. Why would you even try to understand a different ethnicity or religion? We don't want that sort here!

Cola-cubes were great but I was able to buy fags for 5p each at the same shop. Cola and cigarettes forever entwined.
