I agree completely. I saw it twice in the theater and loved it. The opening sequence was just pure joy and the last act is really great. Easily my favorite of the prequels and my fourth favorite overall for the whole series.

I liked it but yeah, it’s my least favorite of the series. Still a good movie.

I’d jump and hope to hit a part of the shop on the way down.

I am of two minds about this on the one hand cool a movie that I like was released today on the other hand. I hate to think that Friday the 13th part five is a 40-year-old movie. It just seems wrong, much like the movie itself.

Ditto for me with Prince of Darkness and Phantasm II. God, KTLA used to me my favorite network on TV!

The first Bond film I ever saw, naturally I cut it a lot of slack for nostalgia reasons. Still think its a solid middle tier entry in the series and enjoy it, flaws and all.

Probably Wolverine just to see how long it would take for him to get tired of the whole thing and go feral.

Well, on the upside I know what one of the answers is for when I get home tonight. 😀👍

Part two is an underrated gem.

Love this one. Maybe my favorite Pacino performance of the 90s. Been a fan of it since I saw it in college.

Weirdly enough I think the drug stuff is handled better in Cheech and Chong movies simply because none of those things is even trying to say anything even remotely relevant. Though that could just be me.

Saw this a few years after college and I tend to agree with you guys on the film as a whole. There are scattered moments in the first half I like, but it does just stop being interesting in the second half. Where the Buffalo Roam from 1980 is also not especially great either.

I saw it twice in the theater that summer. It has always been one of my favorites. Just insane genius.

Always thought it came between fourth and sixth.

Hannibal Lecter, but part of his therapy session involves providing lunch for his patients. #MakeAVillainWholesome

I love all three of those.

It’s a tie between Creepshow and Dawn of the Dead. The comic version of Creepshow is one of the first horror things I ever saw. Dawn is one of my favorite movies regardless of genre.

Looking forward to the second part, it’ll be interesting to see how much of a bloodbath the top four ends up being because you have four absolute classics, any of which would be perfectly good in the number one spot.

Soul Tangler looks like something the Red Letter Media guys would tackle.

1990 was such an epic year for gangster movies. Miller’s Crossing the Godfather part three, Goodfellas. Just an underrated golden era for the sub genre.

To be honest, given what an absolute freak show this pinhead has turned out to be, that statement is rather refined for him. I swear, sometimes I just question my taste in movies when I think of how many complete and utter idiotic whack jobs I’ve enjoyed watching. Ugh!

I do not mean to people trying to hurt others. I mean be kind to each other.

Great I can use something to take my mind off the apartment hunting. I’ve been doing the last couple of weeks. 😀

I saw this in the theater the same day I saw Lethal Weapon 4 a second time. Sorta wish I’d seen LW4 second and there’s no way in hell I can sit through it any time soon but it is a perfectly solid, goofy as heck 90s thriller. Kevin Spacey aside.

MST3K: Cave Dwellers, The Starfighters, Space Mutiny, Puma Man, Final Sacrifice, Manos, Godzilla vs. Megalon, Jack Frost Rifftrax: Fun in Balloonland, Santa and the Ice Cream Bunny (both versions) Shorts: From Rifftrax, the one about the race in Ireland just makes me laugh every time.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, physical media is extremely important.

Days of thunder is one of those movies where the only reason I have watched it twice is because after seeing it the first time I forgot whether or not I liked it and decided to give it a second run to refresh my memory as to whether or not, I thought it was worth my time. It’s OK. 😀

It looks like if someone was starting to create a Dick Tracy villain, and then was distracted by something outside and by the time they got back, they lost interest.

It really is a terrific ode to those insane 70s/80s Italian horror movies you would run across in the video store. In my case, it also helps that I went to film school with the director.

Yes, and I always appreciated them not charging extra for the excess grease. 😀

Love this film. Saw it in high school and still have the 2 disc DVD set.

I’ve got one that pops up every now and then where I found this amazing subterranean book store that has loads of video tapes also has back issues of Fangotia magazine that never existed.

Likewise.

Then there is also the rumored butthole cut. That thing is scary in ways most legit horror movies aren’t.

I made it about halfway through the We Hate Movies commentary track for it before I had to tap out. I can only be so strong for so long. 😀
