Musk got something like 30 investigations into his companies dropped.
He kneecapped the agencies that regulate his companies.
He got a new $6B Starlink contract.
He got god knows what data, and opened god know what back doors into systems throught the government.
He did ok for himself.

Question: what does it mean "the woman's case was dismissed"?
What was the case? Was she appealing a prior denial?

They'll just find neighborhoods of 'not our kind of people' to bulldoze. That's pretty much a given in urban highway construction.

Some napkin math.
About 1.5M commuters/day commute into the Manhattan CBD (Central Business District).
Assuming 1.2 people/car (about average), and a 3 hour commuting window (7 - 10am), it would require about 210 new highway lanes to handle this traffic.
And another 210 to go home.

Leading with your ear to the ground doesn't provide a dignified view to those following.
Sometimes you need to lead.
This involves selling your views.
This is what fox, etc has done. This is what the demo need to counter.

I ate Ramen a few weeks ago.
And Pho a few weeks before that.

Does a great speech make any sound if no one hears it?
I often see great speeches and great arguments here. Raskin tonight, AOC, Crockett, Pritzker, many others.
Then I go read the Big Newspapers, or watch a few minutes of news, and it's like they don't exist.

Nytimes headline manages to remove her agency. Wasn’t a fly on the wall, but from what I can tell she protest quit.

Three people earn 100, 101, and 3,000,000 a year.
The median is 101.
The mean is, as close as matters, 1,000,000
Mean is skewed by high earners.
Median is not.

This shouldn't be an argument.
Wish there was someone who could make a video that could quantify how people get to work in Manhattan, and maybe how many lanes of traffic it would take if everyone drive.

Agree its bad, but not sure spending is a great metric.
As I recall, Soviet Union spent quite a bit and much of it was full crackpot.

We've been stockpiling a fair amount of stuff. That might mitigate the impact for a bit.

No. Email accounts are free. Should have set up a separate email account for this
Also shouldn't have to think about needing to do this.

I choose to, sort of, if they stick to their guns.
I'm a sucker for a good redemption story.

It took a while. I think the first few (Columbia) folded partly out of sheer panic. Hopefully others, having had a few weeks to gather their thoughts, will stick to their principles.
Ditto with Law firms.

'They must be doing that because that's exactly what we'd be doing.'
I often have a hard time telling whether they are cynical or whether they really believe it. (Guess it's a mix).
