I pet him and brushed him and told him I loved him, and that Shawna on Bluesky loved him. He bit me. I think that means he loves you back.

I don't think you should paint him. He's perfect the color he is now. :) Of course you should paint him! He's a perfect specimen!

I'm so sorry for your loss. Kitties are great friends, but they just don't live long enough. I'm glad she got to enjoy some sunshine, though.

What's great is that you set the scene in a dentist's office with minimal doo-dad drawings. If I tried to draw that, I'd have put in the little toilet bowl sink and the other apparatus (although it's been a long time since I've been to the dentist).

Justin, your sculptures are great--I really like the bison and Susan. I followed you in the hopes of seeing more of your work in the future!

That looks like a digital painting--is that a print out next to the actual cat? Or is that a traditional painting? Either way, it's excellent.

Recent NYer cartoon. Seemed appropriate.

Some general Bluesky advice: 1. Use a lot of hashtags if you want to be seen. 2. Reposting is your friend. 3. Follow some groups if you want to see more content. 4. Be prepared to see a lot of artwork and fewer memes.

Thank you! I had fun making him.

Cats just go with Christmas. My beast was happy to play with a low-hanging ornament, ultimately knocking it off the tree and batting it around the tree skirt. Other than that, though, he left the tree alone. Merry Christmas, Kaitlyn!

As an artist, pretty much everything you do is art. You've done so much to make this planet a better place to live. Thank you. And Merry Christmas, Marlo!

That looks like a Joann Fabrics. I worked there for a few years. Have great stuff.

Throwing up is horrible. So are back spasms. I hope you feel better soon!

oh shit... looks like something was made of plastic and it broke. I hope it's a cheap fix!

I sculpted his nose and teeth out of Sculpey air-dry clay. The rest of him is a wooden frame (2x4) with styrofoam bulking up his mass, covered in air-dry clay, painted black, and then covered in plush felt "skin". He has horns under his hat, but they were made out of Magic Sculpt. Thank you!

In 5E a wood elf wizard or sorcerer is racially able to wield a long sword and a long bow (or a short bow). I'm not sure about a short sword or a rapier or anything else, but I know wood elves are proficient with long swords and bows.

Winona, congratulations on five thousand followers! I am sharing my favorite sculpture, a faux taxidermy named Mortimer, seen here wearing a festive holiday hat. I would be delighted to hear what you think. #art #fauxtaxidermy #animalart

Burnout, but it's not from working too much. I get overwhelmed by what would happen if I fail, or if I'm successful.... I like to make art, but it's really hard to start up doing it. Sometimes I start out with the intention to make art, but a whole day goes by with nothing done.

I worked at Joann Fabrics, where the fabric is generally around $14.99 a yard, but then there are sales and doorbusters and coupons and very rarely does the customer pay what the ticket charged. And very rarely does the customer not complain...

THIS. Where I work I have to wrap people's fragile things in paper and I think I'm infinitely better at that than the people who grab like ten sheets and make some sort of mentally challenged origami around their resin reindeer statues...

Thank you! It's supposed to be a gear but it really does look more like a sun. I have a huge bag of plastic and metal gears I could use to make more robots, but the whole Steampunk thing has sort of come and gone... I do want to make robot reindeer though. I just never got around to it...
