Okay, I tried to search for this, but nothing relevant came up. Can you cite some sources?

Add Nights in White Satin to that list. It never came to an end.

Thank you for pointing this out. #unions protect laborers

It works for the idle wealthy class.

Rounding up undocumented workers isn't about money. It is about instilling fear. Setting up riots so the state of emergency can be declared. #usPolitics

Folks, take a look at this comic written by Toby Morris. It visually explains the impact of inequality where the rich get richer and the poor suffer more. #sschat #eduSky #uspolitics thespinoff.co.nz/society/31-0...

A great time to read the comic - Greed vs Need by @xtotl.bsky.social It's a visual explanation about tax evasion hurting others. Imagine the impact of tax evasion weighed against undocumented worker's contribution's -- which they will never recoup. www.rnz.co.nz/news/the-wir...

State of emergency Dictator Trump takes over Cancels voting rights Let's hope our governors and military don't fall for this!

I agree with you! It's not okay to hide in the gaps of law by saying "detention" is different from "arrest." All should have a right to due process - and humane treatment such as clean food, water, and sanitation, and medical needs. Sadly news media are giving reasonable cause for hidden faces.

LAPD has declared that protesting ICE is illegal.

Thank you. I'm glad you pointed that out.

3 things: 1) Use a junk email address for all the random Internet stuff that must have an email to login/ signup. 2) Unsubscribe. Unsubscribe. Unsubscribe. To everything in your main email. 3) Have a professional and a personal email. Try not to let worlds collide.

For those who don't know, there's many kinds of courts in the US, such as family court, immigration court, juvenile, probate, trial, and municipal courts. There are more. Not all courts handle crimes. Being an immigrant is NOT a crime.
comment in response to post
Lynn, right. Immigrants go to immigration court as part of the immigration process. They get a letter telling them to come before the judge. AFTER applications have been made (and paid) along with birth and marriage docs, finger printing and photos have been submitted. Not criminal cases.
comment in response to post
David, no prosecutions in immigration court. It's a hearing before a judge to process immigration and asylum cases. The JUDGE decides to dismiss cases. Trump made that easier. NO ONE GOING TO IMMIGRATION COURT is going there because they're being tried for a crime. #ice #immigration #uspolitics

kNOw justice? kNOw peace. Anti-zionism is not antisemitism. Too many folks conflate them, and it's easy to do so. Israel is a #zionist construct. It's an invitation to all Jews, semitic or otherwise. Their homes are built on the literal rubble of other, semitic, homes and villages. #usPolitics

Physiologically the healthy male body is stronger and have more leverage - due to testosterone levels when developing muscle and bone in childhood. Until I was in my 40s I had no idea how much stronger a male is to a female. I agree with you - let's not use demeaning phrases as insults.

Also, folks are going to immigration court, where the judge dismisses their case - immediately removing legal status to be inside the US. ICE is waiting outside to pick them up. Are there any attorneys who can help protect us? Are State level attorney generals getting involved? Always have a plan

#PYP does just that for grades K to 5. Then #MYP for middle school. #IBDP is the crown.

First grade teacher here. The content gets harder. We still explore, but more explaining and structured practice. The kids who struggle aren't getting structured support at home, and I don't mean academically. Also, songs and dances are fun but my current cohort aren't interested in it. ((Why? 😭))

These things used to happen in private. Then they happened in social media between teenagers. I'm hoping civility survives.

This very rich and privileged man #elon has done so much damage to the working class with Trump's permission. Is DOGE still digging and cutting? Where's the jobs for those who were unjustly fired? Where are the air traffic controllers, CDC, NASA, weather, science and medical experts? #dumpTrump

🚨 Wait. You prepped and taught lessons. You evaluated work. You adjusted teaching strategies and content delivery to fit your students' needs. You spoke to kids about their work, sent messages. YOU WERE THERE FOR THEM.🥰 They were not there for themselves. 😑 (Sorry about the all caps.) #edChat

The trial case is ongoing. No verdict therefore no sentence. According to Forbes (May 30,2025), a reporter asked Trump about a possible pardon and Trump said he "would look into the facts." But the tangent story is even more interesting.
