Except twitter downplays links to the extent that no one gets traffic from it anymore.
Bluesky a post with a link gets the exact amount of traction as a post without a link

I pointed out elsewhere that every cup winner has that f***ing embarrassing result after which the team jelled and they went on to win the trophy.
Hopefully this was it but equally losing to Senegal isn't exactly as embarrassing as losing to a European team.

Got to ask how that got past the first hour of accessibility testing.
Let's just hope we can turn it off..

You seem to have missed my question from your answer.
Give me a real of hypothetical example where having an id card is going to result in you having problems because I can’t think of any such scenario
And 20 years ago I campaigned with No2Id but that was because of data access scope creep.

Sorry you haven’t an actual example, just if buts and maybes attached to the fact you’ve probably never been somewhere that has them.
I remember doing a banking project in Austria and the confirm identity story was look at id card and press yes / no.
The uk equivalent story is a 45 stage flowchart

In what way that they couldn’t do the same without you showing them your id card.
Literally give me an actual real world example because I can’t think of a single reason why your id card would change I thing for the worse

Just look for a course that has a weird name and a lot of availability in clearing at Greenwich...

Wait to you press the don't allow button only to discover you need to talk to a machine on the local network.
Because finding the setting to reset it is a right pain in the arse..

+1 - years ago we used to have a local bus service every 10 minutes, so you could walk out the door and be in town in 20 minutes max.
It's now every 20 minutes so I walk (or drive if lazy) because its only a 30-35 minute walk so if badly timed the journey is long by bus than my own feet

The only reason you end up without a seat on a train is if you are completely disorganised and don't book one.

In Durham there is a bookshop that sells only female authors (with a couple of weird exceptions).
Their Sci-fi section is basically every award winning book of the past few years excluding I think you and @aptshadow.bsky.social

We are.
My question would be who is claiming that it’s good for the economy as it’s well known that military spending has the smallest multiplier effect of any government spending

Do I like it - No.
Do I think I have the right to impose my viewpoint on others in a way that results in them receiving worse services - a bigger No.
Hence I don’t want people purchasing things from Musk but I’m not going to complain if they are doing so after considering the risks

So you are happy for other people to have a poorer health service because lv your viewpoint regarding a particular provider.
Sadly the world is not black and white it’s multiple shades of grey and you are imposing your own views on others to the detriment of their quality of life.

Starlink is the only game in town for some connectivity use cases at the moment.
So hold your nose and use it where absolutely necessary and the risk is low while minimizing overall usage and working on replacing it.
So connecting a Gp practice to the internet fine, defense usage - nope

YIMBY thinking is simple economics - build enough houses and eventually supply will match demand...
Heck up north I can even point to places where house prices haven't really risen for 20 years even as the population grew. Because increased supply matched the increased demand.

It's one man against 14 different women who have a consistent enough set of stories that I don't think any of those women are lying.
As for why he said anything today I wonder if Amazon are pulling Good Omens 3 which is due to start filming roughly today.

The upper house won’t have control of the timetable - it needs to be completed in a legislative session
Increasing its power doesn’t allow it to say nay unless all government power to change the upper house is removed.
And or means that the state of parties at one point has long term consequences

This MRP has so many fundamental issues that I can’t take it seriously.
Granted Labour has problems but the Lib Dems losing seats and the SNP gaining 27 - not a chance of either occurring at the moment

The issue with remembering platforms is that it cascades into multiple areas in ways that I suspect are not fully documented. Hence you do anything and everything possible to avoid renumbering hence platform 0 at Kings Cross and A/B at Liverpool Street

Only then will the save button be enabled.
