Americans discover public transport. Nice!

And that damage will not repair... Since Obama made it hard for me to travel to the US as a dual citizen I don't ever consider the place. The world is large enough...

We tend to believe our own propaganda too much and that leads to strategic mistakes. Dangerous.

Unfortunately given the track record of the USA with regards to gun regulation following desasters...not much hope anything will happen on that front... Not even sure what kind of desaster will be needed, certainly the LA fires did not much.

Arguably, its not even a question of believe. You can't choose to believe in reality, it's there whether you want to see it or not.

Fun fact, there is a VAR in pro cycling as well. 😉 Moto Commissar is really hard at times, non stop on the moto, no break no shelter...

The grass is always greener on the other side. Beware, the wealth you could accumulate in tech is hard to find somewhere else... Still, your son will be happy were he is genuinely interested.

Our lives, but also the lives of many other humans...? The West is kind to its own, not so much if you happen to be on the other side...like Gaza or Afghanistan. Still, the others no Saints either.

Yes, it has some value, but it is probably not that hyper-everything revolution that justifies the valuations. Search is a massive business, but primarily for only one company, maybe a couple.

Agreed. Yes on the decision, questionable on timing.

I really like the idea. Wonder however is this is static? What makes you happy today may not tommorow? What about inspiration? Exiciting experiment!

I have to admit that Whoop's implementation of their AI coach is beneficial. It integrates personal data and has reasoning. It's not the best coach on earth, and it is somewhat stating the obvious, but I did find it a useful addition.

Thanks for sharing! If some day I find the time would love to translate to JS. I find getting started with everything not as easy...looking for an easy step by step tutorial. Then one can experiment with rules...

Republicans howled over the chaotic withdrawal from Afghanistan, so you'd think they'd be upset about stranding American citizens and leaving behind millions of dollars of equipment, food, and medicine. But I guess, when you're providing humanitarian assistance, you have no perceived value to them.
