I work as a Lead Game Designer in Malta, and keep a myriad of unfinished somehow-still-alive side projects. Right now I'm focused on Stellar Settlers, a dice rolling strategy and luck board game. www.enriquehervas.com www.strawberrytreegames.com

It does look pretty great. I enjoyed painting this one a lot!

Not sure it helps, but it seems to be a game produced by "El Corte Inglés" (a big chain of shops in Spain and Portugal). It looks discontinued. I could only find it in a Spanish second hand market app called Wallapop. It looks like a direct ripoff of this game: boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/12...

We've also discussed and lined up a few ideas to follow up after ordering #StellarSettlers boxes, and they are exciting to think about, which is good :D I may share something soon. Have a nice weekend and happy #gamedesign and #boardgamedesign! 3/3

I reviewed the fonts in the #StellarSettlers' instructions manual. And after a few tests, I left them as they were. They are good enough. I couldn't make them better without losing readability, and the baby wanted to press the letters in the keyboard so I had to stop doing anything useful. 🎲✂️ 2/3

3/3 Also thinking about bringing Sky Diver to #Steam. Talked to a colleague that thinks it could get some sales. I don't want to follow the mobile F2P route as it's too much work for what I can do. But perhaps I can use Steam Wishlists as a metric for how much effort to put into a PC version...

2/3 I find that little tactile experiences are nice and engaging for him, but I don't trust what's out there, as he's too little and needs supervision. Publishing under a small premium price makes sense as it avoids ads and monetisation shenanigans and it was quite painless last time.

3/3 I also removed from the website a project that I have to admit it's not going to be done anytime soon. 🥲 It makes me a bit sad, because when I see the screenshots I chuckle to the messy silliness that this game was... Good bye Game Storm, rest in peace. Maybe one day I'll resurrect you.

1/3 But I needed to do it now. The manual comes with a QR code to the website, and a survey, and I need to have a domain ready, so I can print the instructions with the right URLs. I've also done a 1st pass on the survey, but not thought about it too much. Anyone has any tips for feedback surveys?

3/2 Maybe I should use some hashtags for this thing! #gamedev #design 🎲✂️

2/2 I also bought the all fonts pack from Checkered Ink as I'm tired of using the same font for everything. Still haven't had time to go through it yet to see if there is a font I will use but I'm sure I'll use it. chequered.ink/all-fonts-pa... Costs piling up, zero revenue! Business master class.

Same here! I find it much easier to get a decent result with the current paints (that old one was painted with Humbrol enamel paints), but then I can't really see it, and when I make a picture and I see all what's wrong, it kills me 😭

I painted that one in the 90s and repainted it in the 2000s. It's at my parents' house along with a big collection of poorly painted Blood Angels. 🥲
