Sigh, you’ve got me missing Scottish comedian Janey Godley who just passed. She trolled him at the golf course in Scotland with a home made sign that says just this :)

I love how the tree is protected. My parents put the tree in my crib since I refused to stay in there & broke out constantly

Beautiful. They are far more subdued in coloring around Tampa Bay, FL.

Does anyone know how to get in touch with them? Asking for a friend

I hope it works. That has started to happen to me too & I haven’t had it in 4 years. Huh, wonder why lol I am determined these clowns shall not steal my joy. I need to add sleep & health to that

If all that was too much, feel free to screen shot & delete them!

Sounds a bit like making art just different tools

That’s a start! Let me know how it goes. I’ve found art supplies at garage sales, relatives, artist friends so you can hopefully start without wasting until you get your bearings with it. If you decide to take lessons on Patreon Eileen Murphy is great

You can find canvasses at dick blick or Michael’s, then get white acrylic gesso & put a layer on over the cheap (other wise you’ll be frustrated) there are YouTube’s on this youtu.be/ny4VFv_1QEU?...

On colors, you may just want to get a starter set (I forgot Sennilier like them too) that will have red, yellow, blue in both warm and in cool shades, 6 total plus a white (titanium, stay away from zinc, it is brittle and may flake) & a black. I’d also get any color you fall in love with.

4) trekell.com make sturdy, easy to use & clean, brushes. I like Richeson grey matters too. A basic beginners set will be great.

3) Avoid cadmium hues until more experienced at paint handling (avoiding toxins) and if you choose to use thinner, to clean brushes or for light washes in first layers, use osm not turpentine.

2) Look for single pigment paint (you’ll see numbers like pr122 on the side) made with linseed oil. Rule of thumb when you mix, fir secondary colors, try not to have more than 3 pigments - 4 at most

1) Best to buy artists /professional grade of any of the following, will actually last longer: Michael Harding, Windsor Newton, Williamsburg, Old Holland, Gamblin (less expensive, still great paint).

If you decide to, and want suggestions on what you actually need, happy to help. You won’t waste the amounts I have lol. 7-8 tubes if great paint, some decent good but modest brushes & tge right cleaner & linseed oil- you’re almost there

Oh wow you’re so good! Your YouTube channel’s great

I agree, do what makes you happy & ignore the after. Like literally don’t look back, only forward to the next thing that lights you up. Other wise you’ll rob yourself if your own joy. Life’s too short

Every piece of work, every ad, every time you look out a window, look at a face, everything you take in goes into your personal algorithm- it’s all a reference. Impossible to clear yourself, what is seen can’t be unseen.

Your work is so consistently good. I love it.

I still paint in analog for very similar reasons. The smell of the paint, brush in my hand, sounds it makes as you paint. I love it all. I gratefully feel I am partaking in an ancient ritual and a small set of footprints in a very long path through time.

That’s really impressive. You can transfer those skills right over to painting- it’s in the ‘seeing’ and value discernment.

Will previous followers even note the transition?

Great shot, they are not easy to photograph. We have them at the top of Old Tampa Bay & there’s one who just shreds the palms bark, he’s brutal lol
