Last night I discovered I can no longer use Discord and VS Code at the same time on 24H2 because of bugs in Microsoft's multiplane overlay management...

I think they might actually be redrawn like Tactics Ogre was, even if they pass as upscaled at first glance. New/different hair details in Ramza portrait. I ended up being fine w it in TO. New English dub is likely to be very good and will make it worth it IMO

to be honest, gradle and cmake are two birds of the same feather in this respect.
but gradle does have VERY nice build caching features.

actual opinion: very powerful, unfortunately narrow set of "right" ways to do things and very many wrong ones

...has this actually gotten *worse* since the last I used Unity? I've never heard of this but I haven't used Unity in like 6 years.

if you opened the .sln generated by unity itself, this should work automatically. dunno otherwise

Realizing Antstream is likely a streaming service because they're just running FOSS emulators on the backend that they can't obtain licensing for, like Dosbox.
Ewwwwww.

I know that encompasses a *lot* of franchises and studios (especially ones I love a lot), but considering the horrific situation in Gaza surely it is not much to ask.

"supporting opengl" doesn't mean anything. it's about specific *hardware features* exposed by opengl extensions that doom 2016 required, which were newer then than ray tracing pipeline is for doom tda today. it's the same problem.
comment in response to
post
you needed a newer gpu for doom 2016 when it came out than one needed for tda, because of mandatory opengl feature support. if you bought a gpu 6-7 years ago you can play doom tda today, albeit on minimum settings. this is actually pretty modest for a cutting edge release on PCs.

ever since I started seeing demos of hardware RT being used for sound propagation I have seen the light (haw)

maybe an idea for a video? old hardware trying to run newer games over the decades to put hardware capability progress in perspective. launch HL2 is a perfect example of this since it can scale down to like dx6 but looks Horrible when it does
