Lol, well, I am. I do recognize the split though. At one end, as a tool maker, you’re trying to create value, on the other hand, you want folks to know about what you do. That pressure is real. No excuse though. And also, everyone makes mistakes. I’m sure @ahrefs.bsky.social corrects this … ;)

Breaking: @johnmu.com announces no support for a new meta name=embeddings tag. To use or not to use is up to you. Just write quality content.
comment in response to post
Yes you say that but of course many gurus know better :)
comment in response to post
Maybe you folks can advise to use the <meta name=“embeddings”> tag? Would save the day for sure

Last year i was sitting front-row for Marco Giordano’s talk and i told beforehand i would throw tomatoes at him :) how is that for support! (For reference, i decided, eventually, to not do that)
comment in response to post
If that is the main goal and it’s not about the contents of the talks, then … 1. For the first talk, talk beforehand with the speaker but don’t sit at the front row. Leave at halftime 2. For the second talk, go sit at the front row (or close) when you enter Or what @ammonjohns.bsky.social said

I think a lot of it is copycat behavior. But also using people’s faces with very clear expressions is something we all recognize. Reminds of the old UX-trick of a photo of someone looking at the product to buy instead of looking back at you

Have you tried Foucault's Pendulum? Awesome story

Als one of m favorites. When i studied history, our professor used that book to guide us through medieval philosophy. The main character, William of Baskerville) was basically William of Occam

I’m just messing with techniques right now, but if i was any good illustrator, i would draw Poetin as a bullfighter and Trump as an orange bull
