Ha! He’s trying to inspire some of the MAGAts to get off their couches and try to pass a physical.

It’s appalling how they go into every encounter like they need a SWAT team. The people in court have gone through metal detectors, FFS.

Great, time to fund another round of lawsuits. I know where this month’s donation is going.

Why spend a news cycle on this? No one wants Musk to do anything in politics other than to take his marbles and go home.

The City’s stance has been that they aren’t helping ICE other than as required by federal law. So why was LAPD in the mix in this manner?

WTF is the LAPD doing?

We pay high state taxes so we can have roads and schools. Then we contribute more than our fair share to make up for self inflicted deficiencies in other states. Newsom, impound our federal taxes.

Trump never backs down on petty shit to advance a bigger goal. And I am totally fine with them trying to tear each other down.

The consistent message needs to be that the Republicans aren’t business friendly, they are a fucking shit show when they are in power.

Let’s skip the internalized misogyny. It’s the adult white men who have become such snowflakes. A cheerleader could kick their asses if she or he wanted.

Oh, good point about the sprawl. I think LA still has less infill development than development on the periphery? We are more geographically limited in the Bay Area.

Umm, Silicon Valley is minority majority, and SF is also very diverse. So you are wrong on the facts. I also think it’s easier to propose to mow down low rise cement brick and tilt up concrete retail and commercial properties for housing than it would be if the properties had historic buildings.

In SF we had a lot of old school progressives in local government who thought all development is bad. In Berkeley we have a rent control lab. One of the state senators most active in trying to tackle housing came out of city government. So I don’t think it’s a state versus city thing.

It can be used to crunch through repetitive data sets, but that’s about it.

I found really good information online about the location of Tesla, X, etc. data centers. I wonder how many of them are in drought prone areas and are sucking up more than their fair share of the water? Certainly in Nevada, California and Texas.

Ha! The Target boycott has sent so many people to Costco that it’s triggering MAGA.

I asked about it during SARS and was told that people with healthy immune systems will be fine. Until masking during the pandemic I was constantly sick and had multiple bouts of pneumonia. I don’t understand how people who are medically trained can be so insensitive to the needs of their patients.

This is the argument that the bill authorizes market rate housing near transit, and that it should instead be affordable. We have other laws incentivizing the inclusion of BMR units. Does someone know how those would play together?

The numbers for women are going up; the NCAA school near me has moved women’s volleyball, basketball and gymnastics into bigger venues as they are drawing larger crowds.

There are also a lot of health care workers of all genders who are completely disgusted by any fat. You really shouldn’t be allowed to interact with the public if all you want to do is project your body dysmorphia on others.

I see similar remarks about baby boomer law and accounting firm partners, that they should turn their practices over to a different generation. But those comments ignore the fact that those relationships are personal and you can’t just plug someone else in.

The current pre-JFK rules have a shorter list of who is eligible for a booster. Get a prescription from your doctor and the pharmacy will fill it.

I was turned away for a booster this Spring because the guidelines had changed from last year. But the pharmacy team said they would give the booster if it was prescribed by my doctor. So going forward assume you need a prescription unless you are age eligible.
