Hello. I live in Los Angeles. The president is lying.

Military style ICE raids in our communities. David Huerta was beaten and dragged away. Because he saw them and stood up for justice. Because he’s not afraid. Neither are we. On MONDAY let's #FreeDavidHuerta, #FreeThemAll 11:00 AM @ Grand Park in Downtown LA (200 N Grand Ave)

Based tweet

Two LA photojournalists have been shot with tear gas canisters by DHS HSI, including @acatwithnews.bsky.social who was directly targeted by HSI and struck in the head. Sean is en route to the ER with obvious facial injuries. He was conscious and talking when he left the scene.

Gavin Newsom is the wrong man for California for this moment. Every single statement is carefully vetted through his personal political machine that has been wrong more often than not, and is focused only on Newsom's ambitions.

There seems to be a total news blackout on the continuing violent ICE raids in Los Angeles.

This is the right answer. Full stop.

Again, even criticizing DOGE for not saving that much money is too charitable. DOGE will end up having cost the government at least billions, and maybe a lot more than that.

I mean this could be interpreted in many ways. Besides spending.

Sounds like a scene from a bad vampire movie…

At what point is this a coup?

Tightening up their messaging from "we're all going to die anyway" I see.

Didn't Elon just go on TV whining like this also? What is with their victim complex.

Treating a new Covid strain like a crime and not a public health issue is deranged.

We must start building big coalitions to beat fascism, and that means working with people we disagree with on some things. (Doesn't mean don't voice disagreements, but recognize that focusing there means certain defeat.)

Three things made the US a rich and powerful nation: the rule of law, its science & innovation system, and openness to foreign talent. Remarkable how Trump has taken a sledgehammer to all three. No enemy of this country could do more.

Stop calling kidnapping and trafficking people to countries they’ve never been to “deporting.” It’s criminal behavior by a country with no conscience. www.theguardian.com/us-news/2025...

At least 27 are dead in Missouri in Kentucky after severe weather alerts were delayed overnight because of DOGE cuts. www.mesoscalenews.com/p/tornado-wa...

So they're relying on some sort of AI summarizer tool that hallucinates. Oh well not like they're sending people to foreign gulags for life.

What's the alternative to birthright citizenship in the U.S.? Are they talking just prospectively? If so, then they admit it was a right before? I've refused to actually engage on this issue, but now that our esteemed Supreme Court appears to be giving it air I guess I must.

Hard same. And add Tulsi to the mix? Absolutely not .

Two months have passed and over 200 people are still unlawfully imprisoned in an El Salvadoran concentration camp. Kidnapped and trafficked to another country. No due process. Court orders blatantly ignored. We must not forget, they must be returned, and those responsible must be held accountable.

Today Republicans blocked our bill to hold the Trump Admin and the government of El Salvador accountable for their conspiracy to violate due process rights of people living in the U.S. This isn't just about Mr. Abrego Garcia — this is about defending the rights of ALL. Shameful.
