From the post you replied to, the second and third image are probably Robert McNeill, not sure about the other two. Here are all the credited artists from across the book. The only one I’m very familiar with is John Cobb, who’s done a lot of WoD art (specifically Tzimice), I’ll include one of his.

It’s weird bc I remember reading it before the game I played, it felt more Ancient Greek themed from the text. But yeah the images are very cenobite/silent hill coded. I remember the person running the game using the plot and endings of Silent Hill 2 to explain the harrowing mechanic too

A few final images that I will say are more representative quality wise of the entire book

The various powers you can have as a wraith all have an associated “guild” and each guild has an associated symbol and they’re each a delight of skeleton design

A lot of the most insane images come opposite the beginnings of chapters, the funniest pairings being chapter four: Rules and Chapter eight: Systems.

I’d lower both numbers but I’d lower the second one first, no hesitation

Batman Forever forever (ha) not making the cut

I’ve not noticed this phenomenon with Satoshi Kon, but maybe it’s just because I’ve seen fewer memes of his work being posted with the intensity of the other medias mentioned. Interesting to learn though

If you just watch Musk during this press conference he is really struggling to keep it together

Always a great time. I’ve seen it twice at my theater and it’s always worth going

I regret to inform you that Beaker is actually James from Twin Peaks

Took the second watch to recognize what a flex the first shot of Smoke and Stack is as a feat of having the same actor playing two characters

I saw it a second time (and almost a third) for that scene and the scene with Delroy Lindo in the car alone

You should(n’t) watch Tuesday. It’s like if Final Destination was super twee and saccharine. It sucks shit!

Sadly I hadn’t started saving my tickets when I saw TV Glow, but I did find my ticket for The People’s Joker

And ending with the back covers of both books, which always ooze with edgy nineties goodness

Really excited for this season of Real Lich Hours and it was crazy cool getting to see some of the real locations that I’ve run scenes in
