Oof that sounds like the sort of action made possible by the dehumanizing of an entire group of people through rhetorical games to win shallow and short-lived victories at the cost of peoples lives and dignity.
Anyway, this you?

Aaron, your substack looks very reader-friendly and concise in terms of the headlines-list format. Do you mind if I ask what some of your more reliable daily sources are? I assume this is information collected from many different outlets, yes?

Just to be clear, she is talking about protesting the US-backed genocide in Gaza.
She thinks we need to take steps to contain those protests and minimize its influence on young people and it's the protests that are really the problem at the heart of this issue and not, y'know, the genocide. 🧐

I'm not too proud to buy loose candy out of the big front pocket of a strangers hoodie, but these look counterfeit.
Too much color, too vibrant to be genuine... I don't trust this seller.

"... a permission structure for taking risks..."
Would you please elaborate on what you mean by this? Was there a version of this in the 'old playbook?'

Which of these issues should the dnc be prioritizing first, in your opinion?

Trump is such a hack omg! I won't go so far as to say it's straight plagerism but clearly he's lifting material from Chuck Schumer's statements re last summer campus protests.

More notes:
-Do not run in 2028, unless you do it as a republican and not as a gaseous coward in a man-suit cosplaying as "progressive"
-Last but not least, and this is very important, fuck you gavin, fuck you very much for all the time you've committed to this project

College students were one of the prime pools for volunteer recruitment in the DNC. However Harris and crew spent their (albeit short and unconventional) campaign, condemning college protesters and telling people to shut the hell up "Unless you want trump to win."

Genuine question, support from who? Are you talking about constituency showing slumping poll numbers, or the actual administrative support of party officials?

Legit curious, has he called himself a journalist? I just know him for being a booster of the dnc, zionism, and half-baked reactionism. I followed him for a minute but never seen him say he was a journalist.

Biden was too old.
The DNC didn't have a primary.
They ignored any criticism of support for a genocide.
The they bragged about it in Michigan.
Truly, I could go on.

ffs I was joking
A completely myopic approach to the election on the part of the DNC and it's boosters had more to do with Trump winning than his ability to hold attention in the media cycles. They went out of their way to ignore their base in favor of paid (sponsored) internal polling, eg Michigan
