Does that mean post failed crash calls, working in war zones, suicides or more run of the mill stuff?

Precisely. My constant background fear on Mozambique. More than malaria. Fly laid an egg in the skin between my thumb and forefinger and a week later we pulled out a half inch maggot - yuk

It depends why the lumbar puncture is needed. I definitely would not like a lumbar puncture if I was on warfarin or heparin.

Two cultures divided by the same language - we say on ICU, as also on a ward.

That's very true Gail, but I think that only accounts for a small proportion of people with neurodiversity. If you apply that criteria, rather than people undiagnosed, the locking up in unsuitable institutions is not very different today.

You are a trooper Charlotte, and an example to us all.

I'm sure all sorts of neurodiverse conditions were around for ever. But maybe, just maybe, people were more accepted, and life was minimally complicated compared to today. Also, life tended to be nasty, brutish and short pre 1930. Just a few ideas- please don't hit me.

Nytol doesn't mix with a lot of medicines. I can't take anything with diphenhydramine or its relatives in it. Beware.
