“We must remember the purpose of education, not as a soulless conveyor belt shuttling learners toward a soulless hypercapitalist treadmill, but rather, as equipment for the critical thinking and consideration required to survive our human world.”

BYD was historically weighted towards hybrid sales, but by end ‘24 the gap closed to 40/60 and in the first 4 months or ‘25 BEV sales passed hybrid. BYDs future is substantially BEV. Here in New Zealand of the 6 BYD models sold only 2 are hybrid.

He was in the US when Covid hit and became one of the notorious “dirty dozen” (the top 12 disseminators a fake Covid information in the world). He refused to pay the people looking after his horses in NZ and they became rescue cases. Stirling chap.

I had one of those as a neighbour, from the last time National went a courting. Turns out the $ he invested here was an (failed) attempt to hide assets from US litigants. He was notorious for commissioning very spendy work and not paying, putting many local families under severe stress.

I particularly like how he gave the game away and then tried to put the cat back in the bag with the old “in two weeks” shuffle

The capitalism is our religion personal responsibility and survival of the fittest eugenic libertarian crowd. Massively over-subscribed with single childless white men.

People need to resist the "hallucinations" terminology. Code can't hallucinate, and it's dangerous to anthropomorphize a machine. bsky.app/profile/the-...
