We have always adopted shortly after the loss of our beloved dogs. Not to replace them but to honor their memory. I have found it helped with my grief to help a scared pup adapt to a new home. There is always always a pet out there who needs to be rescued. #Adoptdontshop

Section 8 is a necessary program. I worked 30 years with people who relied on section 8 SNAP & Medicaid. The working poor need these programs more than ever. It’s not a hand out but a hand up to living with dignity while working at jobs that don’t pay 6 figures with a hefty benefit package.
