I always thought Jussi Adler Olsens writing could easily be transformed to a script. They did a great job - only thing I miss is Akram (who's called Assad in the books) getting corrected by Carl for using the language incorrect. Probably hard to translate. Love Matthew Goode as Carl!

The music is set to a gibberish text written by the Swiss artist Adolf Wölfli, who lived with severe mental illness. The singers try to get the words out, but they never really succeed. The further we get into the work, the more the soloists are pushed out into the cold, away from the community.

The debate in Denmark certainly is often more based on feelings than science. So sad that fear trumps knowledge!
