Much the same with writing

Happy Caturday 🐈‍⬛🤍

There seems to be a lot of this sort of "all or nothing" view of ai - either you hand over every single aspect of your life to ai, or you actively rail against using it at all. This article in part shows that ai is most useful when used intelligently, selectively, & as part of a range of tools. #ai

Saturday morning, no plans other than writing, and I just had the most perfect cup of tea. Just the right strength, just the right amount of milk, and the perfect temperature. Love it when that happens. ☕️ #happiness #teadrinkers #tea #saturdaymorning

Very interesting article about what might happen with ai in higher ed. I addresed this in my latest blog. If you'd like to read that, you can find it here: www.theconcisequill.com/befriending-the-dragon-incorporating-ai-into-academia #academicsky #ai #edtech

"Have you noticed the growth in disability provisions for anxiety? The presence of other humans? One in seven students apply for disability provisions in New South Wales. The problem is deep. I’d even say it’s out of control." rebeccabirch.substack.com/p/on-the-cyc...

In the years since covid, Western society has shifted emphatically from a "we" society to a "me" society. One result seems to be a 'listening crisis': everyone wants to be heard but no one wants to listen. How do we fix this? #mentalhealth #activelistening #socialchange

"The willingness to love is not yet love." I do struggle with self-love, a lot. This simple message and meditation shows us the importance of learning to do just that, and explains what it truly means deerparkmonastery.org/journal/deep... #buddhism #selflove #mindfulness #meditation

I look forward to the day when I can call him, "Nacho President" .

Wondering how to work with ai instead of fighting against it? Check out my new blog post, Befriending the Dragon – Incorporating AI into Academia, now available here: www.theconcisequill.com/befriending-... #academicsky #ai #teachingandlearning #edtech

Thanks Harvard, for taking a stand. Perhaps we should all stand together….

Twelve years (and 2.1 billion views) ago, when my brother and I decided that we could make videos that could maybe help people in their high school and college educations and then give them away for free, no one was there to tell us we were crazy, and I am very glad for that...🧵

Still faking it in the hopes of making it. Seems to be working so far...

👌

Importantly, Buddhist practice is not about achieving a future state of awakening, as though it were a distant goal. Awakening is already present within us — not as an idea, but as a capacity for direct knowing. Goodnight everyone take good care of yourself.

A very complex task indeed

Being autistic is exhausting at least in part because you don't get a break from your own thoughts.

When small mishaps make you sad, remember: the universe may be protecting you. Those minor setbacks could be diverting energy away from bigger troubles heading your way. #positivethinking #selfhelp

Something I wish more people knew (and understood) is that you see autism every single day, everywhere you go, and just don't know it.
