The thing is, only get answers to the questions we ask. This means thinking carefully not only about "what" we ask, but also how & why we are asking, & whether there are other questions we should also be asking. The "what ifs" about confounders & controls are of course important factors to consider.

I have long thought that the safest possible car you could make would have a six-inch metal spike sticking out of the steering wheel angled towards the driver's heart. Would certainly get ppl to slow down *would work best if installed in all cars simultaneously. *probably a very simple modification

I once had a non-conversation with a woman who was absolutely determinedly convinced that GM foods cause skin cancer bc as GM foods became more common, so did skin cancers. Non-conversation bc I was just not prepared to try to counter that level of stupid.
